Set in a post-apocalyptic future devastated by a nuclear apocalypse (which coincidentally took place in 2077), it’s safe to say that Bethesda’sFallout 3doesn’t have the bright lights and glamour ofCyberpunk 2077’s Night City.

Fallout 3tends to get a bad wrap today, with skeptics believing that titles likeFallout: New VegasandHorizon Zero Dawnhave created far more compelling open-worlds. 3Half-Life 2 (96)

There’s a reason why,now thatCyberpunk 2077has finally released,Half-Life 3is once again the most highly anticipated release in all of gaming.

2Halo: Combat Evolved (97)

It’s not often that a game with an eye-watering Metascore of 97 will miss out on the top spot of a list like this, butHalo: Combat Evolvednarrowly falls short for having a lower User Score than the top spot.

Halo: Combat Evolvedmay lack the open-world andcomplex narrative ofCyberpunk 2077, but as far as futuristic FPS games go,the firstHalogame is one of the best ever released.
