The saga continues to grow in the form of videogames too and now thatStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderis canon to the saga fans of the series have more to explore. Of course, the game being canon means that there are a ton of Easter eggs and allusions to the mainline franchise. Here are ten that we’ve found so far.
10Darth Maul’s Lightsaber
Despite hardly speaking a word inStar Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom MenaceDarth Maul is one of the most popular characters in theStar Warsuniverse. Thankfully, his character was further developed in the animated seriesThe Clone Warsand Rebels, as well as his appearance inSolo: A Star Wars Story.
A version of his iconic double-bladed lightsaber can be found in one ofFallen Order’s Abandoned Workshops for Cal to craft. Just as Maul did in the film, the double-bladed lightsaber is best used when dealing with more than one opponent at a time. It is perfect for deflecting blaster bolts and parrying when surrounded by large numbers.
9Chewbacca’s Homeworld
One of the planets that Cal can visit inStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderis Kashyyyk. Kashyyyk is the iconic Wookie Chewbacca’s homeworld and was only briefly touched upon in theStar Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.
It is also interesting to know that the final battle inStar Wars: Return of the Jediwas meant to feature the final battle on Kashyyyk. However, George Lucas opted for the planet Endor and created the Ewoks instead as the Wookies weren’t primitive enough. Now withFallen Orderfans finally get a chance to visit and do battle onKashyyyk.
8Saw Gerrera
Saw Gerrerais an important character that Cal will meet in the story ofStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.However,Star Warsfans will recognize the character fromRogue One: A Star Wars Storyand the animated seriesStar Wars RebelsandThe Clone Warswhere he was first introduced.

The character was played by Forest Whitaker inRogue OneandRebelsand he reprises his inStar Wars Jedi:Fallen Ordertoo. Saw and other members of the resistance were secretly trained by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in military combat before he became a leading figure among the Rebels.
7The Inquisitors
Throughout his journey inStar Wars Jedi: Fallen OrderCal is pursued by The Second Sister. The Second Sister is a member of the Inquisitors who is Force-sensitive Dark Side Adept warriors that answer only to Darth Vader and The Emperor Palpatine.
The Inquisitors are elite assassins and warriors that were trained to hunt Jedi and unfortunately for Cal they play a big role in his pursuit. The characters were first introduced inStar Wars: Rebelsand similarly they are the main antagonists in the animated series.
6Execute Order 66
Star Warsfans that watchedEpisode III: Revenge of the Sithwill remember when Anakin turned to the dark side and lead the Clone Troopers in hunting down and destroying most of the Jedi. The purge was initiated by Palpatine’s order with the command “Execute Order 66”.
It was later revealed in The Clone Wars animated series that the clones had implants that made sure they carried out their orders without question. InFallen Order,there is an amusing Easter egg on the train sequence where Cal encounters a locked door. If the player gets Cal to try the lock 66 times Palpatine’s voice fromRevenge of the Sithcan be heard saying “Execute Order 66”.
5The Obi-Wan Holocron
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderfeatures an early story sequence that shows Cal’s mentor Cere explaining what a Holocron is. Holocrons, of course, have been a big part of theStar Warsfranchise right from the beginning.
Star Wars: A New Hopehas the iconic scene where R2D2 plays a Holocron message intended for Obi-Wan Kenobi from Princess Leia. InRevenge of the SithObi-Wan records a Holocron message which was later revealed in season 2 of the animated showRebels.This exact same Holocron message is the one that Cere shows Cal.
4Darth Maul And The Nightsisters
InStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderthe player is able to explore the planet of Dathomir before moving on to the game’s main story. Here the player can find out about Darth Maul’s dark homeworld and even get his iconic double-bladed lightsaber early.

The player can even discover the legend of the Nightsisters a tribe that is strong in the force and known to fans of theClone Warsanimated series. One of the main antagonists of theClone Warsseries Asajj Ventress is also mentioned inFallen Order.
3Master Yaddle
Jedi Grand Master Yoda is well known toStar Warsfans for being Luke Skywalker’s mentor and for his great fight scene against Count Dooku inStar Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.However, fans that watched the prequel films will also remember Master Yaddle a female member of Yoda’s species and a high ranking member of the Jedi Council.
During an early conversation overheard on the ship between Greez and Cere, Greez mentions being a fan of Master Yaddle and his wish to meet the Jedi High Council member if she was still alive and in hiding.
2Faster! More Intense!
During a flashback sequence that shows Cal learning how to do the wall run. During this cutscene, Cal’s Jedi Master Jaro Tapal is shouting out instructions and the most notable of these are the quotes “Faster! More Intense!”
During a making-of documentary featured on the DVDs and Blu Rays forStar Wars: A New Hopethe cast commented George Lucas would often use the sentence “Let’s do it again. Faster, more intense”. It’s a directing style that is still echoed in the modern trilogy even without George Lucas’ involvement.
1The Force Awakens
InStar Wars: The Force Awakensfans were given a new trilogy with new characters and of course a powerful new antagonist in Kylo Ren. Kylo Ren showed his power in the early stages of the film by having the ability to slow down blaster bolts that were fired at him.
In an allusion to Kylo’s power, Cal also has the power to slow down blaster bolts and either deflect them back or avoid them. Whether Cal has the ability to become as powerful in the Force as Kylo Ren remains to be seen.
