In an open-world game likeThe Witcher 3where every quest is a handcrafted labor of love, it’s easy for a player to lose track of their priorities. After all, they really can’t go wrong with any quest. However, some of them offer better rewards than others, which is many players' primary motivation for finishing them.

Be it a sense of emotional fulfillment or material things that help Geralt be a more efficient witcher, some quest rewards inThe Witcher 3are worth more of the player’s time. It just so happens that looking for these quests in theBlood and Wineexpansion can be dizzying with how packed it is with quality content. So keep those eyes peeled for these quests in Toussaint.
10Paperchase
All thatmonster slayingcan get tiring, which is why something as tame as “Paperchase” is a welcome breath of fresh air. It’s where Geralt gets tasked by a messenger to claim a ton of gold in some bank. Well, he’s a struggling witcher canonically so he bites.
Only, Geralt was soon reminded of why he hated civilization and urbanity so much: red tape. It’s best that the player experiences all the details in the quest because they’d soon wish they slew some monsters instead of sitting through with this one. to get the quest, just visit a vineyard owner near Trentin’s workshop in Beauclair.

9Equine Phantoms
Roach has often been a silentcompanion and troublemaker for Geralt. He doesn’t really get much chance to shine in the narrative. That is untilBlood and Wineintroduced the “Equine Phantoms” secondary quest. There, Geralt drinks something weird (again) and Roach becomes more talkative than usual.

It’s one of those unforgettable moments or side quests inThe Witcher 3that’s actually hard to avoid getting spoiled by due to its appeal. Go look for it from a hermit named Pinastri somewhere northeast of Dun Tynne Crossroads.
8"The Warble Of A Smitten Knight"
“The Warble of a Smitten Knight” is arguably one of the most well-crafted side quests in the game. Players will need to complete it before progressing in the quest “Capture the Castle,” otherwise, it’s gone for the playthrough.
In any case, this quest is a standardcurse-lifting case for Geraltbut with a twist as it involves a knight who’s in love with the cursed individual. The end of the quest can pose difficult branches of resolution for the players as it’s notGeralt’s usual exploit. The quest can be found in the Tourney Grounds near Beauclair.

7Beyond Hill And Dale…
Now, where is that quest which leads to some witcher wet dream? There’s always one in every main questline and inBlood and Wine, it’s tucked away safely in the “Beyond Hill and Dale” quest. It’s where Geralt and Syanna spend some time in the Fablesphere.

The quest itself is an amazing part of the game for its visuals alone as the Fablesphere manages to be more interesting and vibrant than Beauclair. Depending on the selections made throughout the quest, players can also choose whether Geralt sleeps with Syanna or not. For maximum emotional payoff, then, by all means, go for it. This one starts off after the “Night of the Long Fangs” quest.
6Portrait Of The Witcher As An Old Man
Tired of all those witcher contracts and all the haggling peasants and lords? Well, it’s time for Geralt to get some much-needed appreciation by getting a painting of his own. It’s time for Geralt to keep up with Dandelion’s narcissism.
“Portrait of the Witcher as an Old Man” allows just that. Players can even choose how Geralt gets painted. For the best comedic value, take all of his armor off and have him wear nothing but underwear. It’s not quite “Bathtub Geralt” level of masterpiece but it will suffice. Look for it in the marketplace south of The Gran’Place signpost.

5Master Master Master Master!
Speaking of masterpieces, no other items are more valuable works of art for the players than the witcher gear. The game’s an RPG after all, and shiny stuff is more coveted than warm fuzzy feelings. It just so happens thatBlood and Wineis loaded with Grandmaster-level witcher gear.

How do players find all that treasure? By looking for the “Master Master Master Master!” quest. It’s a side quest that triggers the subsequent side quests for the witcher school gear hunting. Go to Lazare Lafargue in Hauteville, Beauclair for the quest.
4Scavenger Hunt For Grandmaster Gear
After talking to Lazare Lafargue and finally getting the prompts for the “Scavenger Hunt” for Grandmaster gear, it’s time to actually do some hunting. Pick a gear set or school you like and pursue it like a wolf on a hare.
There’s a total of five of them for the Griffin, Manticore, Wolf, Viper, and Feline schools. Additionally, players will have to finish one of them to finish the “Master Master Master Master!” quest. Why stop at one though?

3There Can Only Be One
While on the topic of gear that would make any witcher salivate, silver swords are likely their most premium fashion statements. Geralt actually got the best of them years ago but lost it. It was the Aerondight sword which is also crowned as the top silver sword inThe Witcher 3.

Thankfully, it conveniently ended up in Toussaint. Geralt can easily re-acquire the Aerondight through the quest “There Can Only be One.” Players can then follow that side quest by picking up a notice from the Gran’Place noticeboard.
2Turn And Face The Strange
Both expansionsforThe Witcher 3introduced some massive enhancements for Geralt andBlood and Winenotably gave the witcher a power creep in the form of mutagens. It’s not like Geralt needs it with how godly he is already, so that’s probably why unlocking it is only a side quest titled “Turn and Face the Strange” away.
Players who adhere to the main quest can’t miss this one though as it’s given to Geralt after the “Blood Run” quest. Maybe add that quest to the priority list as well. After finishing it, making somebroken builds for Geralthas never been easier.

1La Cage Au Fou
By far one of the most interesting and unconventional quests in the expansion, “La Cage au Fou” is a definitiveWitcherescapade. Players are given two choices that are irreversible and measure what kind of person they are or how much they want to rush the quest.
It’s where Geralt must collect some special wight’s saliva. The quest is not only narratively interesting but also practical since players can grab the Tesham Mutna steel sword along the way. That’s two birds with one stone.
