Summary
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueis bringing Task Force X to the world of video games in a way that’s never been done before. Not only will players get to embody iconic villains such as Harley Quinn and Deadshot, but they’ll be tasked with taking down some of DC Comics' greatest heroes amidst an alien invasion. Four playable villains in total will be available inSuicide Squad: KIll the Justice Leagueat launch, and developer Rocksteady has already shared that more will be introduced at launch. Thanks to some leaks, fans also have a loose idea of whom those additional villains may be.
With its live-service format, the sky is the limit forSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s DLC villains. The team has historically been comprised of dozens of notable characters over the years, making the base game’s Task Force X a bit small by comparison. There’s no telling at what rate Rocksteady will add these new villains, but the wide world of DC Comics gives the developer a lot of room to work with. The recentKill the Justice Leagueleaksalready suggest that quite a few villains are in the pipeline, but if the game receives serious long-term support, there are a few other villains who should be strongly considered.

Bloodsport
Bloodsport recently rose to prominence thanks to his appearance in the2021 filmThe Suicide Squad, butKill the JusticeLeaguecould introduce a version of the character that’s slightly more accurate to his comic origins. He historically has a close connection to Superman, as he’s been tasked by Lex Luthor to kill the superhero in the past.Kill the Justice Leaguecould introduce the villain by touching on this history, while ensuring he has the lethal arsenal of firearms that makes him so dangerous.
Parasite
Another Superman villain, Parasite could serve as a similarly brutish character to King Shark inKill the Justice League. Often depicted as a monstrous creature, Parasite can absorb the powers of other heroes just by touching them. While it may be difficult to apply this ability toKill the Justice League’s action-shooter gameplay, he would nonetheless be an iconic inclusion with a heap of narrative and gameplay potential.
Polka-Dot Man
Another villain who was featured inThe Suicide Squad,Polka-Dot Man is an incredibly strange villainwho gets more mileage out of his absurdity than any actual acts of villainy. He could still prove to be a dynamic and visually striking DLC character inKill the Justice Leaguethough, using his polka dots to dish out damage just as Captain Boomerang does with his namesake projectiles.
Bronze Tiger
If Rocksteady wants to add some martial arts flair toKill the Justice League, Bronze Tiger could easily fit the bill. A recurring member of Task Force X in the comics, Bronze Tiger is a skilled fighter and tactician who also has the ability to transform into a bi-pedal tiger. He may not be the most popular, but the Suicide Squad is known for uplifting unknowns into the spotlight.
Count Vertigo
Another low-level villain in the DC Comics hierarchy, Count Vertigo has been a frequent member of the Suicide Squad in the past. His power to create a sense of vertigo and disorientation in his opponents is a bit strange, but Rocksteady could find potential in using it as a way to counter enemy attacks.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s DLC characters have a lot of potential, especially if theKiller Croc and Deathstroke leaksare to be believed. Time will tell just how many villains work their way into the game after launch, but there’s no denying that Rocksteady has more than enough to choose from.
