As such, the following list ofadvancedHogwarts Legacy tipshas been updated to include even more niche ideas that can help players truly dominate the late 19th-century wizarding world.
15You Don’t Have To Kill Bandits To Loot Their Big Chest
Simply Fly Or Run In, Grab The Loot & Get Out
There are many bandit camps inHogwarts Legacyfull of dark witches and wizards or Ranrok’s loyalists. At the center of each camp, there is at least one chest containing rare loot, such as newTrait upgrades. These chests are often found inside a tent.
However, what many players don’t realize is that the bandits themselves don’t need to be defeated to secure the loot. If players don’t feel like fighting or are playing on a harder difficulty where all combat takes considerable time, an alternative solution exists. Simply fly, ride, or run into the camp, loot the chest, and get out! Players can also try and use stealth to achieve the same goals.

14Earn Lots Of Gold By Catching Puffskeins En Masse
Easy To Catch & Sell For The Same Price As All Beasts
One tip many players will want to know ishow to get rich fast inHogwarts Legacy. A great method for this is to capture Puffskeins in the Nab-Sack and then sell them at the Brood and Peck store for magical creatures in Hogsmeade. Puffskeins are arguably the easiest creatures to capture, with a spell such as Accio working consistently, and yet they sell for the same price as any other beasts.
Catch as many as possible, seeing as they are stored in the seemingly endless Nab-Sack, and each trip back to Brood and Peck should result in a sack full of Galleons. The Nab-Sack is unlocked part way through the game as part of the quest known as The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom.

13Use Spells To Get Out Of Reach Loot
Wingardium Leviosa & The Summoning Charm Can Be Used To Get Loot
Sometimes, loot is annoyingly out of reach inHogwarts Legacyand this is particularly true during the quest in the Room of Requirement. Thankfully, as witches or wizards, players can get creative and use their spells to rein in bags of coins or cosmetics. This can be done with the help of Wingardium Leviosa, Accio the Summoning Charm, and sometimes Levioso.
It really depends on the situation, as some items can be picked up or moved by perhaps one of these but not the others. The important thing to bear in mind is that something is always possible with these spells and there’s no harm in trying them out. Sometimes, they will need to lift something up and then pull it in with Accio.

12Use Your Broom To Flee Combat
As players aren’t always able tomount their broom, such as in places like Hogsmeade, they may be surprised to learn they are able to do so in combat. This can be a huge saving grace if a fight is going badly and players aren’t sure when the last auto-save was.
After mounting their broom and flying to safety, players can heal up and even sneak back in once their foes have settled down. Of course, if they are in a no-fly region such as Hogsmeade or the interior of a cave, they won’t be able to flee in this way. Either way, this is a good trick forHogwarts Legacyto keep in the back of the mind.

11Curse Spells Break Any Shields
The Unforgivable Curses Are A Great Way To Break Any Defense
Enemies will often have different colored shields which must be broken by spells of the same color. However, curse spells, such asthe three Unforgivable Curses inHogwarts Legacy, break all of these shields. Having this knowledge makes them even stronger than they already are, as players don’t have to waste time casting other spells first.
One good move would be to use Imperio on a shielded enemy to gain their help, and then focus on killing enemies without shields. A few of the Dark Arts Talents turn other spells, such as Arresto Momentum into curses too. Some of these Talents can also apply curse damage to multiple enemies at once, breaking many shields.

10The Range Of Revelio Is Larger While On A Broom
Reveal More Chests & Hidden Objects At Once
Spamming the Revelio spell to reveal chests, hidden objects, and quest-specific items is a simple tip forHogwarts Legacythat most players already know about. However, a hidden mechanic is that Revelio has a much larger range when flying on a broom.
By flying over an area and revealing everything at once before landing, players will find what they are looking for faster, or even come across secrets they otherwise wouldn’t have found on foot. The only thing players need to do is make sure they don’t fly too high.

9Use Glacius Or Arresto Momentum To Easily Capture Thestrals & Unicorns
These Beasts Are Hard To Keep Still With Levioso
Capturing large and rare beasts such as unicorns and thestrals to sell is one ofthe best ways to get rich fast inHogwarts Legacy. Given their price though they are naturally much harder to capture.
Rather than using the recommended Levioso and fiddling around with having to keep up with the beast once the spell wears off, players should instead use Glacius or Arresto Momentum, both of which last much longer. This makes using the Nab Sack much easier and of course, this tip can be applied when capturing otherbeasts to care for in the Vivarium.

8You Can Hold All 3 Of The Fireflies At Once In Merlin Trials
Completing Merlin Trials is one of theExploration Challenges inHogwarts Legacy, and players looking to complete them all have a big undertaking given that there are 95 trials in total. These are separated into nine types of trials, with one involving players using Lumos to gather fireflies and place them in the middle.
A quick trick to speed this process up though and save time is to gather all three groups of fireflies first, and then head back towards the middle to place them one by one.

7Practice Spell Combos On The Dummies At Feldcroft
A Safe And Easy Way To Practice & Try Out New Ideas
When players learn new spells after completing the assignments that Professors set, they are able to practice their new spells on the practice dummies that the Professors momentarily provide.
If players are looking for a more permanent location to practicethe most fun spell combos inHogwarts Legacythen they can head down to the village of Feldcroft where Sebastian Sallow lives. Here they will find a range of practice dummies that the villagers use to hone their skills.

6Unlock All Alohomora Levels ASAP
Being Able To Open All Doors & Locks Prevents Future Backtracking
There are many doors and chests inHogwarts Legacythat can only be unlocked with the Alohomora charm. Players will learn this spell from school caretaker Gladwin Moon on The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament mission.
However, this only provides players with the first level of Alohomora which in turn can only unlock level 1 locks. Therefore, to avoid having to keep visiting the same locations to clear them of loot, it is better to unlock all three levels of Alohomora first, so that all locks can be unlocked in one go. To upgrade their Alohomora players will need tofind more Demiguise statuesand return them to Mr. Moon.
