There are 30 different ranks in the Arcade Quest mode ofTekken 8. Players will begin their journeys as Beginners, though by mastering the game’s combat and proving themselves in battle against countlesspowerful combatants from the franchise’s rich history, they’ll be able to rise to the rank of God of Destruction, earning numerous rewards along the way.
As one might expect, rising to the very top can take an awful lot of time, regardless of how skilled a player may be. Thankfully, though, there are a few things thatTekken 8players can do in order to ensure that they level up quickly in Arcade Quest, both when it comes to the opponents that they choose to fight during each of the mode’s chapters and the in-game settings they opt for.

How to Level Up Quickly in Tekken 8’s Arcade Quest Mode
The best way to level up quickly in Arcade Quest is to go tothe Game Option Settings menuandchange the “No. of Rounds (Ghost Battle)” setting to 1. This will effectively allow players to level up three times faster than they would with the default settings, as the XP payout for winning a Super Ghost Battle in Arcade Quest remains the same regardless of how many rounds the player fights. Other than that, players should always try andfight against the highest-ranked fighters available(see the table below), as beating tougher foes typically rewards players with more XP. Of course, there are some exceptions here, such as if players have a chance to earn a Treasure Box by fighting a particular NPC.
Eventually, players will reach a point where all of the fighters in the main arcade are weaker than them. Once this happens, they’ll want to speak to Max andhead out to the Final Round, which can also be accessed by selecting the Super Ghost Battle option from the main menu once players have visited the area for the first time. Here, players will find some of the strongest fighters in Arcade Quest, as well as 42 Treasure Boxes containingalternate outfits for every playable character inTekken 8. By this point, though, players will likely have unlocked all of the Trophies / Achievements tied to improving one’s Arcade Quest rank, so most will likely opt to stop after opening the final Treasure Box.

However, those determined to grind their way up to the highest possible rank will find that this is the best place to do so, as there are plenty of high-level opponents to fight. The fastest way to level up after reaching Bushin is torepeatedly fight Harada-TEKKEN, who is based on the franchise’s creator and is the highest-ranked NPC in the Arcade Quest mode.Beating Harada-TEKKEN once will unlock the Godfather Trophy / Achievementand reward players with the Final Boss, Bearded Man, and Godfather Titles. Each subsequent run will typically grant between 500 and 1,200 XP (more if it’s a Promotion Match), allowing players to grind out the last few Arcade Quest ranks in under an hour.
Rank-Related Trophies / Achievements in Arcade Quest
In addition to the Trophies / Achievements tied to completingall six chapters ofTekken 8’s Arcade Quest mode, players will be able to earn four more by increasing their Arcade Quest rank. The final rank that rewards players with a Trophy / Achievement is Garyu, so most will likely choose to stop there, assuming they’ve completed all of the Treasure Box fights. That said, some of the Title Plates, Health Gauges, and Player Information Panels that players unlock for achieving the very highestTekken 8ranks are pretty cool, so there’s definitely an incentive to keep going, for those who are up for the grind.
