PC gamers with anAmazon Primemembership can take advantage of a significant discount on Intel Core i9-11900K desktop processors as part of Amazon Prime’s latest sale. The Early Access Sale lets Prime members save big on a variety of merchandise, including some high-end hardware.
TheIntel Core i9-11900K 8 Coreis part of the 11th generation of Intel processors, having launched in the first quarter of 2021. While some criticized it for its significant power draw and cooling issues, it’s nevertheless a respectable option for PC gamers looking to up the power of their rigs.

According to Intel, the processor has a recommended retail price between $593 and $603, with Amazon showing a regular list price of $645. However,Amazon Prime memberscan pick it up for only $249.19, a massive 61.37% discount as part of the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale. The sale runs for two days, from October 11 to October 12. It will be followed by the annual Amazon Prime Day sale from October 12 to October 13. This gives Amazon Prime Members a three-day window to take advantage of this and other significant discounts from the popular retail site.
The Intel Core i9-11900Kis an 8-core processor with a baseline frequency of 3.50 GHz and a maximum Turbo frequency of 5.30 GHz. It also supports up to 128 GB of DDR4 RAM and features a 16 MB Intel Smart Cache. The processor also comes with a built-in Intel UHD Graphics 750 controller with 64 GB of memory and native support for 4K HD and up to three monitors.
As indicated above, the Intel Core i9-11900K saw mixed reviews when it was released last year. While generally regarded as a solid piece of hardware, criticisms included the above-mentioned heating issues and power consumption. It also required users to purchase an additional cooling device for optimal performance. Critics also felt it was overpriced, and its performance struggled tocompete with similarly priced AMD CPUs. Still, the massive discount might make theIntel Core i9-11900K worth picking up with Amazon Prime.
