Summary
Boruto: Two Blue Vortexstarted its serialization last month and it continues very strong this month as well.BorutoPart 2 chapter 2 dropped earlier today and it is safe to say that this week’s chapter was absolutely incredible for the fans to enjoy. While there was not a lot of progression when it comes to the plot, a lot of the key information was revealed to the fans.

At the same time, fans also saw some of the side characters in action, which is always great, given that the series has had great problems when it comes to that.BorutoPart 2 Chapter 2 focused a lot on Boruto Uzumaki and his newfound strength. At the same time, the lore of the 10 Tails was also explained in more detail. More time was given to characterssuch as Sarada, Kawaki, and even Team 10, which is always fun for the fans to see.
Kawaki Springs Into Action
With Konoha officially under attack, it was only a matter of time before the likes of Kawaki and other Konoha Shinobi jumped into action. Fans fully expected the strongest shinobi to jump to fight immediately and try to curb the threat of the Grimes. They are creatures created from the 10 Tails itself, which means that their power is going to be immense, especially compared to average ninjas. That is why mobilizing the strongest of shinobi is of utmost importance and Boruto Part 2 chapter 2 highlighted that very well. Fans got to see the likes of Kawaki in action as he tried to take down several of them at the same time. The Ino-Shika-Cho Trio was also seen in action in the chapter and that is always a welcomed sight for the fans. This trio has not had much action in Boruto and fans absolutely loved the fact that they got some panel time in this week’s chapter.
At the same time,BorutoPart 2 chapter 2 also focused quite a bit on the Grimes themselves. Fans know these creatures to be extremely powerful, however, it appears that their power level varies. Some Grimes are born without eyes while otherspossess powerful Kekkei Genkai, such as the Rinnegan.One of them was seen attacking Kawaki in the chapter and had it not been for Shikadai, he could have suffered a great injury. Kawaki ended up blowing him to bits and decided to fight the others immediately after.
Boruto and Sarada Reunion
BorutoPart 2 chapter 2 also focused quite a bit on Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha. Boruto is, understandably, the center of all the attention right now and Sarada appears to be playing a secondary role in the confrontation with Code. These two characters finally met after three long years and it appears that their relationship isn’t getting off on the best of starts. Boruto didn’t even so much as look in Sarada’s direction. While this goes to highlight his cold demeanor, it also indicates the fact that Boruto perceives the threat to be quite massive and does not want to get distracted at all. Boruto also shows care towards Sarada at the same time as he asks her to survive so that they catch up later on.

Sarada then goes on to join the battle as she is asked by the Shinobi of the village to help out the people from being killed. Fans get to see a glimpse of Sarada in action as well. Sadly, nothing new was demonstrated by the Uchiha, so fans could not get a proper idea of how strong she has become after 3 years of training. That said, her old abilities are always fun to witness.Sarada used her trademark Chidoriin the chapter to got rid of two Grimes at the same time. She also used Fireball jutsu, which is one of the signature techniques of the Uchiha Clan. It is clear to see that she is still in touch with her roots and the fact that her ultimate techniques are being used so casually right now means that she has better things up her sleeve which she will most likely demonstrate as the series progresses.
Code’s Plan
The meaty part ofBorutoPart 2 chapter 2 came duringthe conversation between Boruto Uzumaki and Code.From the very beginning, it looked like Boruto was fully confident in his abilities. He even threatened Code to simply surrender and help him out and, in return, he would let him live. Code, of course, called out his bluff and the two immediately went back and forth in conversation. Boruto revealed that killing Code is not difficult for him at all. The problem is using the Grimes on the battlefield. According to Boruto, using them would lead to a devastating future for the world and it would cause problems for everyone.
By the looks of it, Code is well aware of this, however, the severity of it is something that is beyond him. According to Code, the plan is to use the 10 Tails to feast on the chakra and create a God Tree. Eventually, the God Tree would then bear a chakra fruit, which would kill off the entire planet. Code would then consume the chakra fruit and gain tremendous power in the process. To Boruto Uzumaki, however, the idea seems absurd because Code doesn’t seem to be grasping the threat that he’s going to cause. Boruto was seen threatening Code once again, telling him to lead him to the 10 Tails and getting his life spared in return. Naturally, Code would not take that offer and it appears a confrontation between these two characters is now inevitable.
Boruto’s New Power - Rasengan Uzuhiko
Boruto Uzumaki was also seen in action, just like all the other ninjas of Konoha were. Of course, the section of the chapter that focused on him in Boruto Part 2 chapter 2 was much more elaborate. Boruto was seen using his sword in combat. His fighting style appears to have changed quite a bit and he relies on his sword quite a lot. This makes him very similar to Sasuke in terms of fighting style. Boruto was not seen making use of any kind of ninjutsu during his fight against the Grimes. A significant number of them tried to outnumber Boruto but he was effortlessly able to slice through them without much trouble at all. He has become an excellent swordsman and the scary part is that this isn’t even the full extent of his power. Fans know that the true power of Boruto Uzumaki is still to be seen and at the end of the chapter, it appears as if Boruto utilized a completely new Jutsu.
Moments before the battle between Boruto and Code finally began, Boruto Uzumaki was seen using a Rasengan. Code noticed immediately that this jutsu was nothing special, however, to the fans, It was quite clear that this Rasengan was somehow different. For one, fans were not able to see this Rasengan at all. The only thing that was visible was the air rotating around Boruto at a very high speed. Secondly, Boruto Uzumaki named this jutsu something very different. The new techniquethat Boruto uses is called Rasengan: Uzuhiko.What exactly this jutsu is and how Boruto created it is something that the fans do not know at the moment. This jutsu also appears to be invisible, which might suggest the usage of Lightning Release, since that is the Nature Transformation that he applies to his Vanishing Rasengan. Regardless, it appears that the fight between these two characters is going to begin in the next chapter and fans will get to see the true power of Rasengan: Uzuhiko.
