ThoughBreaking Badwrapped up back in 2013, it maintains a large fan base, with thisAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayer celebrating their fandom in-game.
Animal Crossing: New Horizonshas shattered franchise recordsby selling 42.2 million copies as of March 2023. WithNew Horizonsgarnering such a large audience, it’s no surprise there have been impressive fan-made creations shared by the community.

Reddit user TonyClifton323 recently shared a screenshot of what appears to be the upstairs room of theirAnimal Crossing: New Horizonshousewhich has been revamped to resemble one of Walter White’s labs inBreaking Bad. While Walter White doubled inBreaking Badas a high school chemistry teacher, theAnimal Crossing: New Horizonslab shares more visible similarities with the illegal operations that he ran, notably the one funded by Gus Fring. Mimicking the industrial design of theBreaking Badlab, TonyClifton323 has used furniture like an amazing machine, inspection equipment, an operating room cart, meter and pipes, an unknown machine, a white tank, and some wall-mounted fans.
Going beyond the industrial items used to reflect theBreaking Badlab setting, TonyClifton323’sAnimal Crossing: New Horizonscreation features a whiteboard, fly model, tarantula, and multiple tables with chemistry sets and one electronics kit on them. Representing the blue drug thatBreaking Bad’s Walter Whitewas known for, TonyClifton323 has included a blue star piece next to a microscope which was often used in the AMC series to gauge the purity of the product. TonyClifton323 has also made sure to customize theirAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsvillager to look like Walter White, donning an orange jumpsuit, double-bridge glasses, and a bald cap.
Although TonyClifton323 didn’t express how long theBreaking Badcreation took or how manyAnimal Crossing: New HorizonsBellsit cost to put together, it’s likely that it took some time to acquire all the furniture pieces required to make Walter White’s lab. While the upstairs level of TonyClifton323’sAnimal Crossing: New Horizonshome has been converted into this lab, it’s currently unclear if they intend to expand into other rooms or the rest of their village with moreBreaking Bad-inspired sets.
