According to a rumor, the Arabic version ofCall of Duty: Modern WarfareandWarzonemay contain the date that the open beta forBlack Ops Cold Warmay begin, at least for the PS4 version. CharlieIntel reported the leak, saying that when a player selects the pre-order option forCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warfrom the in-game store, the information lists that the PS4 open beta will begin on October 8. Activision has not addressed this rumor, but the timing makes sense considering when the full game will be released. However, if this rumor does prove to be correct, it isn’t certain that the Xbox One open beta will come out at the same time.

While the most surefire way for a player to get access to the newCall of Dutygame’s open beta is to pre-order the game digitally, there is also another way for fans to get in on the action early. This Sunday on August 30, theCall of DutyLeaguewill be streaming as part of the Championship Week. During this time, the League will be giving out 10,000 digital codes for the open beta to fans. However, the details on the giveaway are somewhat limited, so players who want to participate in the open beta will have a better chance if they purchase the game for themselves.
