The Legend of Vox Machina Season 2might still be airing, butCritical Rolejust announced it bringing the Mighty Nein to animation soon as well.Mighty Nein, a newCritical Roleanimated series, is in development, and will be coming to Prime Video in the future.

Critical Rolemade the announcement on its official Twitter page alongside Fanology Prime Video. The new project is early in production, and does not yet have a release date or footage, but may provide more information duringCritical Role’s pre-recorded showsdown the road.

The short trailer showed off the set ofCritical Rolelittered with merchandise, miniatures, andprops from the Mighty Nein’ssecond campaign actual play stream. The camera pans around the set as characters from the party recite some of their most iconic and memorable quotes. The trailer ends on a shot of theMighty Neinpilot screenplay, which then fades to their party logo with the player characters silhouetted in the background.

Critical Roleis a popularDungeons and Dragonsactual play stream composed of famous voice actors. The stream became so popular thatCritical Rolebecame an independent companyof its own, featuring official and third-partyDungeons and Dragonsproducts, a non-profit foundation, and other products like board games, comics, and books. Players are ecstatic to see the Mighty Nein make the jump to animation.The Legend of Vox Machinahas been an excellent translation of the popular actual play campaign, and fans can’t wait to see the second story get the same treatment.
