DC Comics andFortnitehaven’t exactly had the most collabs together, and hopefully, that will one day change. The extent of DC’s most impressive characters deserves a spot onFortnite’s growing roster. Whether these characters are iconic or perfectly fitting, the potential for DC characters inFortniteis astounding, and it’s a surprise that the game is so lacking in such characters.
Whilst there are plenty of Batman skins to go around, some of the most popular DC heroesand villains, or even those that might not be as well known to the mainstream, definitely deserve to joinFortnite’s colorful cast of characters, fitting perfectly with the themes of the season and the art style.
7Peacemaker
A Foul Mouth Who Will Do Anything For Peace
Peacemaker isn’t exactly the hero that society deserves, nor is he the one they need. In fact, he’s pretty much useless, considering he will do anything for peace, no matter how many women, children, and men have to die for him to get it. That absurd moral ground makes him perfect forFortnite, as he can try and seek peace against 99 other war-raging players.
Peacemaker recently came into popularity thanks to John Cena’s depiction of the character in live-action, so it would be a double reward to have both Peacemaker and John Cena return as this peace-loving anti-hero. Peacemaker’s love for guns would really add to the appeal.
6Green Lantern
Guardians Of The Universe Empowered By Will
The Green Lantern Corps is an iconic staple of DC Comics. Their bold green suits, paired with their rings from the Guardians of Oa that allow them to act as anintergalactic police force, are pretty cool. There have been plenty of Green Lanterns over the years, and the diversity of these characters means they all deserve a skin, or, could feature as different styles for one Green Lantern Outfit.
Running around Battle Royale as Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardener, or even Kilowog would be a blast, and a full squad of Green Lanterns ensuring peace on theFortniteisland would certainly add to the immersion of this Battle Royale experience.
5Nightwing
Batman’s Most Promising And Hopeful Protégé
Bruce Wayne’s first ward, Dick Grayson, is his most promising. Dick was raised as the sidekick Robin to be everything Bruce couldn’t be: youthful and hopeful. Taking Dick under his wing,Batman would raise a new hero for a brighter agein the DC Universe, and Nightwing forged his own path with acrobatics and a smile.
The first Robin will always have a place in the DC Universe, and his legacy as Nightwing only continues forward, paving the way for the potential of a key member of the Titans inFortnite. It would be a shame not to have Nightwing in the game, since Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy all feature already.
4Booster Gold
A 25th-Century Screw-Up
Booster Gold comes from the 25th Century, where future technology is astounding. Yet, Michael Carter has great ambitions of joining the golden age of heroes, so he steals technology to become Booster Gold, where he often gets into heroic troubles with his best friend Blue Beetle, all whilst having more prominent members of the Justice League shake their heads at Booster’s silly antics.
Booster’s bright and colorful costume would be a perfect compliment toFortnite’s art style, and as a character who is set to receive his own series in the DCU, it would be a perfect opportunity to showcase the rising popularity of this hero whocraves fame of yesterday.
3Plastic Man
A Doofus With Immense Stretchable Power
A former small-time crook, Patrick O’Brian became Plastic Man once he received his powers, and his popularity in DC Comics has steadily grown ever since. Plastic Man is often seen with a stretchy grin, cracking a few quips and jokes at the expense of his fellow heroes, which only adds to his charm. Plastic Man’s attire is bright and wonderful, fitting perfectly inFortnite’s theme.
Even outside of his colorful costume, his potential is grand, and worthy ofFortnitedue to how he’s perhaps one of the few heroes that couldactually take Superman on in a fight. His stretchable powers make him a hilarious and often deep hero who deserves the spotlight.
2Batgirl
A Hero That Aids In Batman’s Crusade
It’s impossible to talk about DC Comics characters without Batgirl, especially whenher importance in the Batman mythosis so high. Whilst there have been many iterations of Batgirl over the years, with Barbara Gordon, Cassandra Cain, and Stephanie Brown all holding the mantle, there’s been no better opportunity to have 3 styles for one outfit.
Each Batgirl has their own distinct personality and costume, whether that’s the bright and purple of Stephanie Brown or the silent and deadly black outfit of Cassandra Cain. The Batgirl trio would make for a great feature inFortnite, especially when there are already multiple Batman outfits.
1Black Canary
A Brilliant Martial Artist With A Deadly Scream
Black Canary is more than deserving of a spot in theFortniteroster. After all, a Black Canary has always been important in DC Comics for the Justice League and Birds of Prey. Perhaps the most famous Canary is Dinah Laurel Lance, who would become the girlfriend, wife, and ex-wife of Green Arrow, making for an interesting duo for Battle Royale enjoyers.
Black Canary is an icon, and allowing her topunch and screamher way through the competition would be fun, especially with her punk outfit of fishnets and a jacket, bringing a rocking style thatFortniteseems to enjoy these days.
