Like many other MMO-style games, players inDestiny 2are always looking for easy farming methods and spots to make resource gathering and leveling that much easier, and one player is giving others a glimpse at another spot they can use for farming weapon levels. The inclusion of leveling as part ofThe Witch Queen’s weapon crafting has seen players search for the best places to level-up weapons and unlock all the perks. While some of the top spots have been inside endgame activities, it appears this new spot is going to be much easier to access for players.
Weapon leveling is one aspect of the larger crafting system introduced toDestiny 2with the launch of the game’s 2022 expansion,The Witch Queen. The original system required players to complete deepsight objectives for weapon frames, which can then be crafted at The Relic on Mars using some combination of the resources and, subsequently, leveling up the crafted weapon to unlock all the available perks. Since then, the system has become much more streamlined by increasing deepsight drops and removing most of the resources previously needed to craft and level up weapons.

The process of leveling up weapons is fairly straightforward as all players have to do is actively use them, with activity completions providing an extra boost to speed the process along. A more common practice among the more hardcore player-base has been farming areas with high enemy-density and consistent enemy respawning, leading to most players using areas in dungeons and raids to do so. That said, reddit user W2sjw shared on theDestiny 2subreddit an enemy respawn gate fromShadowkeep’sMysterious Disturbance missionis a more widely accessible area to farm.
As of this writing, the most common farming location inDestiny 2has been the Shuro Chi encounter insideLast Wish, which players could jump to using the wall of wishes near the start of the raid. The only hiccup is farming requires constantly dying and restarting the encounter, which can be frustrating if a player is trying to farm levels on crafted special and heavy weapons and potentially burn through rally banners for ammo. Mysterious Disturbance, by comparison, has no such requirements and players can simply camp the gate seen in W2sjw’s clip as enemies respawn over and over, making for a much more relaxed farming experience.
The only hiccup for W2sjw’s location is it can be time-gated due to theShadowkeep’s missions being locked as a weekly rotator, meaning the mission only comes around every two weeks. W2sjw said in their post’s thread PlayStation and PC players can manually adjust the date, providing a workaround if some players don’t feel like waiting.
Destiny 2is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
