How To Feed Sunbirds in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Sunbirds are one of the easiest critters to feed, as they will readily approach players hoping for a floral treat. When a Sunbird is within acceptable range, the player can interact with the critter and select a suitable food to share. Like other potential companions, feeding a Sunbird itsfavorite foodpaves the path to quickly and efficiently befriending and unlocking them as companion pets. A companion can be fed any number of times in a day but will only increase affection and give a reward with the first feeding.
Offering the critter’s favorite food will not onlymaximize friendship point earnings, but also allows players to receive the best rewards for their efforts. Feeding a Sunbird its favorite food can earn players the highest affection reward and the chance to receive a Memory Shard, containing a Memory Piece,Night or Dream Shards, or a Motif Bag. Conversely, providing only a liked food results in less affection and mayyield a Memory Shard, Seeds, or Materials (Vegetables, Crystals, etc.). Once all Motifs or Memory Pieces from Sunbirds have been collected,Star Coins or other rewardsare given in their stead.
