Thanks to shortcuts, it’s possible to get to the Scavenger’s Curved Sword location relatively early, by taking the Liurnia-Altus secret path, then heading straight to Mt. Gelmir. To help players figure out how to get Scavenger’s Curved Sword for themselves, this guide to this powerful Bleed weapon has been updated with a video walkthrough explaining how to reach its location from the Gelmir Hero’s Grave site of grace – the closest site of grace to the Scavenger Curved Sword location.
Scavenger’s Curved Sword Stats and Abilities

The blade is tacky with blood and covered in hefty nicks, making it totally uneven. Life can be sinister indeed.
The Scavenger’s Curved Sword is a fast-swinging and high-damage-potential armament that can be infused with a variety of different Ashes of War and scaling options. It has low requirements, very low weight, and causes Blood Loss buildup even when infused with other effects like Frost or Poison.

TheSpinning Slash Skillweapon art is decent, but other options take advantage of the Bleed buildup better. The Scavenger’s Curved Sword, as the name suggests, is a member of the Curved Sword family of armaments. It can therefore be dual-wielded with other weapons of this class such as theFlowing Curved Sword, theMagma Blade, theWing of Astel, and theEclipse Shotel.
Where To Get Scavenger’s Curved Sword
The Scavenger’s Curved Sword can be found relatively early inMt. Gelmir. After reaching the First Mt. Gelmir Campsite Grace, head northwest through a ruined encampment and up a hill until you reach a stone bridge jutting out leading west.
Cross the bridge to reach a ruined campsite with a ladder leading up. There is a Grafted Scion here, so be careful to avoid it or be ready to face it down. At the bottom of the ladder leading to the rest of Mt. Gelmir there is a corpse lying by a burned cart - the Scavenger’s Curved Sword can be looted off of this body. If you want a second one, you will have to go into NG+.
