TheElder Scrollsfranchise is packed with memorable items, weapons, and armor sets for players to use, many of them with special lore to make them more distinct. Of all the sets that have been featured in the games, though, few are as iconic as the Daedric armor set, which boasts a jagged look and red accents. One cosplayer has captured the alluring set perfectly.
Over on Reddit, user Talkenia shared a recent photoshoot that they did with theirDaedric armor cosplay, and it’s impressive. Complete with a Daedric axe, the cosplay falls somewhere between theSkyrimandElder Scrolls Onlinedepictions of Daedric armor. The pauldrons aren’t quite as spikey as the ones found inSkyrim,but the cosplay looks more practical than the Daedric armor sets in the games do by a mile.

Even with the changes, though, Talkenia’s Daedric cosplay should be instantly recognizable toElder Scrollsfans. The only omission from the Reddit post is the Daedric helmet, another iconic armor piece. However, Talkenia does have an image including the Daedric helmet on their Instagram account, @Maris_Armory, and it seems to be just as impressive as the rest of the set, if not more so.
Talkenia’s other cosplay is equally impressive, demonstrating how the creator has garnered so much experience. Beyond doing other leatherwork, Talkenia has also created cosplay from shows likeAvatar: The Last Airbenderand games likeThe Witcher 3,which can also be seen on their Instagram page.
Elder Scrollsfans have a penchant for bringing in-game artifacts to real life. Just a few weeks ago, one fan’s recreation ofSkyrim’s Skeleton Keywent viral due to it being a near-perfect recreation of the item, which is one of the most memorable featured in the game. It’s certainly not alone, either, as countless other works of art inspired byThe Elder Scrollsgames have also made their way online.
Those looking to dive intoThe Elder Scrollscan look towardsElder Scrolls Online’s Gates of Oblivion expansion, which launched yesterday for PC and lands on consoles in a week. Currently, it’s the best way to get a taste of newElder Scrollscontent, which has been sparse in recent years.
Fans can also look forward toThe Elder Scrolls 6,though it isn’t clear when it will launch, likely still being years away despite being announced in 2018. No real updates have been made on the game’s progress since then, though many fans are anxiously awaiting new details.
