This haircut was not on the set of any movie and was just a personal haircut for Stone, so fans should not get too excited that this means she is reprising her role in an upcomingSpider-Manfilm. However, it does give fans a good look at what Stone would look like with the Spider-Verse haircut. If there is a universe out there where Stone plays a live-action version of Spider-Gwen, it’s safe to say she would do a great job.
Many fans would like Stone to reprise her role, and there are a few projects where she could play a live-action Spider-Gwen. AlthoughThe Amazing Spider-Man 3has been teased a lotafter Garfield’s return inSpider-Man: No Way Home, it seems unlikely that such a movie will get made and even less likely that Stone will reprise her role in any significant way. The upcoming Madame Web movie could be another possibility, as multiple Spider-Women appear in that film.
The most likely candidate would be for her to appear inSpider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. InAcross the Spider-Verse, there were multiple live-action cameos, including scenes from live-action Spider-Man films, but there was also one cameo filmed for the movie with Donald Glover as The Prowler. It’s possible that Stone films a cameo like that for the sequel.Spider-Versecreators Phil Lord and Chris Miller teased that there may bemore Gwen Stacy variants in the third movie, even saying that there was a specific one that they were excited about.
