However,Jurassic World Evolutiondiffers from the other Epic Games Store free games for December 2020 in one key way. Fans only had one day to claim the previous free games, but they have an entire week to claimJurassic World Evolution. Now that the holiday event is over, it seems the Epic Games Store is switching back to its model of giving away one free game per week instead of one free game per day.
Anyone interested can claimJurassic World Evolutionfor their Epic Games Store library between now and January 7 at 8:00am PT. At that point,Jurassic World Evolutionwill be replaced with a game calledCrying Suns.Crying Suns, for the uninitiated, is a tacticalroguelike gamewhere players take on the role of a space fleet commander. It earned somewhat positive reviews when it originally launched in 2019. It will be available from January 7 until January 14 at 8:00am PT, at which point it will likely be replaced by a new free game.
Next year, it will be interesting to see if the Epic Games Store brings back its free game promotion to count down to the new year. And if it does bring back the promotion, it will also be interesting to see if it does anything to keep the free games secret. Fans will have to wait until next December to find out, but in the meantime, there should be plenty morefree Epic Games Store gamesthroughout 2021 to keep them occupied.
