Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulseis a cult classic game that first released for the original Xbox in October of 2005. The game received a remaster earlier this year, bringing the fan favorite game to modern platforms. TheStubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulseremasterincludes some new bells and whistles, like improved graphics.
WhileStubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulseis not a scary game, its premise still makes it a solid pick for the Halloween season. For those who may be unfamiliar withStubbs the Zombie, the game puts players in the role of thetitular Stubbs the Zombieas he eats brains. Humans that are unlucky enough to be attacked by Stubbs will potentially turn into zombies as well, allowing players to create their own hordes of undead.
Stubbs the Zombie’s clever use of zombie tropes results in some interesting and unique gameplay opportunities not commonly found in many other titles. Aspects of the game were criticzed as being outdated in the remastered version, but it’s still worth checking out for nostalgic fans or those who want a zombie game to play thisHalloween season.
Paladins: Epic PackandStubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulsewill both be available on theEpic Games Storefrom October 14 to October 21 at 10:00am CT, at which point they will be replaced by new games. It’s possible that the Epic Games Store free games will stick with a Halloween theme, but fans will just have to wait and see to find out for sure.
