In July of last year, Nintendo finally released the latest installment to the longtime tactical role-playing gameFire Emblem, calledFire Emblem: Three Houses. The game serves as the first entry in home consoles ever since the release ofFire Emblem: Radiant Dawnfor the Wii back in 2007.

Now, less than a year afterFire Emblem: Three Houseswas released, the game is finally getting a discount, which wasn’t even made available during Black Friday 2019 on most major video game retailers. Players interested in picking up the game would be happy to know that Walmart is sellingFire Emblem: Three Housesfor $49.95, which is 17% off its original list price of $59.99. While the price reduction may not be much, the game is definitely worth getting given thatFire Emblem: Three Housesoffers players tons of hours of enjoyable gameplay.

The player takes the role of the monastery’s newest instructor and is tasked to guide students through a series of battles. Upon starting the game, players will be asked to choose which house to lead, which may be overwhelming at first given thatthere are so many considerations to ponder uponsuch as the stats of members of each house, romanceable characters, and many more.

Apart from the cast of well-fleshed out characters,Fire Emblem: Three Housesoffers a sizable amount of story that is interconnected between all the available paths the players can take. AlthoughThree Housespretty much tied up the majority of the loose ends within its main story campaign, the game still left a lot of unanswered questionsthat are still shrouded in mystery. Luckily for players, there is still hope to get answers to these questions given that the game is continuously getting post-launch DLC’s.

Last November, Nintendo released anupdate that allowed players to interact with animals in the game. To the uninitiated, the hub area of the Garreg Mach Monastery is filled with an assortment of stray cats and dogs that players couldn’t interact with originally. Unfortunately, the level of interaction provided by the update wasn’t enough for some fans, given that while they can feed the animals from a distance, it still didn’t provide the ability to pet them.
