On January 2nd,Fortnitereleased an updatethat introduced the Enforcer AR and Flowberry Fizz. The Enforcer AR is a high-damage, low fire-rate automatic assault rifle that is intended for medium and long-range use, and comes in all rarities. Flowberry Fizz is a new shield item that can be used in multiple ways. The user can either apply it to themselves to give them up to 100 shields, or spray it on a teammate to do the same. Flowberry Fizz also gives the recipient a low-gravity effect, allowing them to jump higher and further for a limited time. This update alsoremoved some items, such as the Grappler, Icy Grappler, Sneaky Snowmando, Snowball Launcher, Snowy Flopper, and Holiday Presents. And now that Winterfest is concluded, the game’s menu screens have returned to their normal state.

What was Added and Removed with Fortnite’s Newest Update?

Although someFortniteplayers had complaints about this year’s Winterfest, the event went smoothly for most. Leaks claim that the season will feature Greek mythology as its theme, and might introduce aNinjagocollaboration.Fortnite’s next season isn’t scheduled to begin until March 8, but based onFortnite’s history, fans can still hope for new content to be added to the game until then.

Other leaks suggest thatFortniteis working on a new movement mechanic, which would allow players to swing from ropes, as well as climb them. Leakers also suggest that the game will introduce a vehicle-hijacking mechanic sometime in the near future. It’s not yet known whether these new mechanics will be released with March’s Chapter 5: Season 2 update, or sooner.
