Weapons are one of the main parts in a character’s build alongside artifacts.Choosing the right weaponcan make a huge difference in the damage output a DPS character can provide. A recent leak on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed which five-star weapons will be featured on the upcoming update 2.5. One of the most credible Genshin Impact leakers,Tangzhu, has apparently confirmed that the two five-star weapons that will arrive at the first banner cycle: Primordial Jade Cutter and Kagura’s Verity.
The Primordial Jade Cutter is an S-tier weapon, as it provides high damage number thanks to its sub-stat, which is Crit Rate. This weapon can be a great fit for DPS and sub-DPS sword users such as Albedo, Ayaka, Bennet, or Jean. The weapons passive provides a significant HP and Attack bonus which suits mostGenshin Impact DPS characters.
Kagura’s Verity will be a brand-new signature weapon for theupcomingGenshin Impactcharacter Yae Miko. She has already been officially confirmed by miHoYo via its official social media accounts. Yae Miko is expected to be one of the strongest DPS characters in the game, with great sub-DPS capabilities as well. Previous leaks have already revealed the main stats for the weapon:
Yae Miko will apparently arrive alongside another double banner re-run, which will feature two popular characters, Raiden Shogun and Kokomi. Raiden Shogun has become one of, if not the most popular character in the game, and she currently holds the record for being themost pulled character on a single banner cycle. Her biggest draw is probably that she is probably the most free-to-play friendly five-star character inGenshin Impactsince she’s top-tier support even at zero constellations.
Genshin Impactis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is currently in development.
