A new leak fromGenshin Impacthas revealed the involvement of the fan-favorite Wanderer with the story of the upcoming Fontaine region. Before his debut in Version 3.3, Wanderer was one of the HoYoverse RPG’s most highly-anticipated characters, first being introduced not long after the game’s launch in Version 1.1. The former Fatui Harbinger plays a major role in the story of the Sumeru region and has becomea popular DPS choicefor many players running Anemo-focused teams. Now, Wanderer’s time inGenshin Impact’s spotlight is apparently not over yet.

Few details have been leaked about the story ofGenshin Impact’s upcoming region of Fontaine, aside from brief in-game lore and teaser trailers. Fontaine is known to be one of Teyvat’s most technologically advanced regions and bears a heavy theming around “justice,” first introduced in the game’s “Travail” trailer released shortly following its launch. The region is also rumored to feature sweeping rivers and large bodies of water, owing to its position as the home of the Hydro Archon. Now, new leaks have suggested Wanderer will make his way to the aquatic region.
