ArecentGenshin Impactleak from GenshinMeowhas given players a sneak peek into the in-game model of Lion Dance Boy, who appears to be wearing a large, multi-colored traditional dress like lion dancers in China. This model is very different from the concept art that surfaced on the internet a couple of months ago, showing that the character has brown eyes and hair alongside a pair of fingerless gloves. Additionally, there is a Pyro vision on his waist, which hints that Lion Dance Boy will be one ofGenshin Impact’s Pyro units. The leaked model seems to be from a banner image of an in-game event featuring Cloud Retainer.
Some credible sources suggest Lion Dance Boy will become available in the second part of version 4.4, alongside several characters that haven’t received an event warp for a long time. There is a strong chance that he will bring with himGenshin Impact’s Ganyu and Shenhe, who will allegedly receive new skins in the next major version. Players will have to wait until 2024 to get more information about Lion Dance Boy’s story and ability kit.
