Harry Potter: Wizards Uniteplayers are in the middle of a very busy September. The month kicked off witha surprise Dragon Weekevent that took the place of the delayed Brilliant Event. Before week one of the Brilliant Event could take place a new update needed to make its way to the game, but luckily that is now taken care of and things are back to normal in the mobile AR game.

Before witches and wizards head out into the world and start tacklingall of the Battle for the Department of Mysteries tasks and rewards, they’ll want to download and install the latest patch for the game. Update 2.15.0 is a big one forHarry Potter: Wizards Uniteand makes some game stability improvements, bug fixes, and adds the much-needed support for Apple devices that are running iOS 14.

The game update is available now and it should automatically download for most players. To make sure the game is up-to-date before logging on today, just head to either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and double check that the application is up-to-date.

iOS 14 Support

Bug fixes for general app stability and visual issues.

iOS 14 Support! If you’re an Apple user who has been unable to play Wizards Unite recently, you’re in luck. you may now playWizards Unitewhile running iOS 14.

Potions

Players now have the ability to purchase Potions directly from the Potion selection menu during Encounters and Wizarding Challenges.

Specific Bug Fixes

As always, theHPWUdevelopers continue to work hard at eliminating bugs in the game. These are the latestWizards Unitebug fixes. If you still experience these bugs, please submit an in-app bug report.

Fixed an issue affecting the SOS Training Node: Knowledge Transfer. Players who completed Knowledge Transfer were not receiving Inn Charm charges from Treasure Trunks.

Fixed an issue with threat level visual effects on Traces that appear on the Map.

Made text revisions to the Trace Charm Expertise page.

Fixed a visual issue affecting the Magicum Vitae that cuts off the text for the Tonic for Trace Detection Potion bonus.

Once the update is installed and ready to go, players should head back out into the game world to continue powering through part one of the current Brilliant Event. There’s a long list of tasks to complete and some enticing rewards, including some new changes to earnDefense Against the Dark Arts Books, so the event will likely be a pretty popular one.

Part 1 of the Brilliant Event kicks off on September 15 and spans through September 22, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. If any additional bonuses or rewards are revealed, we’ll be sure to post an update.
