The role-play idea comes from Redditor AtlasFlynn, who claims they play the game as a Hogwarts student with a secret superhero identity, mask, cape, and all. This is to give more reasoning as to why the player is always away from Hogwarts battling poachers and goblins.Character creation is key inHogwarts Legacy, with a focus on players being able to live out their Wizarding World dreams. It’s great that the game even manages to give players the tools to role-play as a superhero, even if it’s just in the imagination of the player. As gamers become more familiar with the game’s plethora of outfits, they might become even more creative with the type of immersive role-plays that they create inHogwarts Legacy.

Players in the thread took to the idea, and even offered ways to further the role-play. One player suggested the Clark Kent-Superman approach, with the protagonist wearing glasses when not in superhero mode and no mask or glasses when acting as a hero. Others expressed disappointment that the game didn’t allow for different preset outfits to automatically switch between when entering and leaving Hogwarts. Fans ofHogwarts Legacyhave been quick to request quality-of-life improvementslike this, although it remains to be seen if Avalanche Software is planning to implement any of them.
