Honkai: Star Railhas a rich story that follows a group of Trailblazers' galactic journey. Each character in the game possess unique abilities that they pull from various elements and Paths. The latter’s energy was also used by Aeons, which are described as godlike beings who preside overHonkai: Star Rail’s universe, and were bound to these Paths for the rest of their lives.
The Aeons technically aren’t concrete fixtures inHonkai: Star Rail, but they are mentioned in character dialogue and reading materials, and present in the Simulated Universe. Themysterious Black Swanalso introduced the gods in “Fable of the Stars.” Many players might think that there are only a few Aeons inStar Rail, but there are actually 18 in total, with many making an impact by building the game’s universe.

What Players Need to Know About Honkai: Star Rail’s Aeons
Aha The Elation:Also known as the Aeon of Joy, Aha appears as an entity with multiple masks. A faction called the Masked Fools are devout followers of Aha, with the belief that the truth of the world is a joke and “the ultimate meaning of all things lies in mere laughter.”
Akivili The Trailblaze:The main characters ofHonkai: Star Railtravel the stars in the name of Akivili and the Path of The Trailblaze while aboard theAstral Express. It’s said that they traversed across worlds to lay down a star track that linked lone worlds within the universe.

Ena The Order:Not much is known about Ena the Order because they were absorbed by the Aeon Xipe. A faction called Beyond the Sky Choir, which Herta said only existed in legends, lost their faith when Ena disappeared.
Fuli The Remembrance:According to the Genius Society and Interastral Peace Corporation (IPC), Fuli is a mysterious figure and rarely presents themselves in front of mortals. When they do, they take on a humanoid form carved out of crystal. There’s also an implication that they existed before the universe was made, but somehow, held all the memories of humans.

HooH The Equilibrium:HooH the Equilibrium was believed to provide perfect balance in the universe. Meanwhile, inHonkai: Star Rail, theEquilibrium Leveldictated the difficulty and amount of content players had access to.
IX The Nihility:Humans believed that IX was a “peaceful” Aeon, but they’re also one of the most deadly when attacked. Meanwhile,playable characters who follow the Path of Nihilityhave debuff abilities and can inflict damage over time (DOT).
Idrila The Beauty:Idrila came into existence out of the “pure goodness of the material world.” Their most devoted followers are the Knights of Beauty, whichrumored character Argentiis a part of.
Lan The Hunt:Also known as the Reignbow Arbiter, Lan the Hunt was a mortal-turned-god who led the Xianzhou army against the Heliobi. They also fought Aeon Yaoshi after turning Xianzhou citizens into “undead abominations” (Mara-Struck).Characters who follow the Path of The Huntare mostly DPS fighters that deal CRIT DMG.
Long The Permanence:There are no information about Long the Permanence since they’re believed to be dead beforeHonkai: Star Rail’s events. Their name was also derived from the Chinese characters for “dragon,” which might be a hint as to what they looked like.

Mythus The Enigmata:Followed by many talented artists, Mythus the Enigmata is an unknown being that believed that “things-in-themselves are beyond perception,” and that everything finite should remain enigmatic.
Nanook The Destruction:The leader of the Antimatter Legion, Nanook is the main antagonist ofHonkai: Star Rail, and was believed to have destroyed their own world when they were born. Meanwhile,playable Destruction charactersusually have high DEF and increased ATK when their HP is lowered.
Nous The Erudition:Before becoming an Aeon, Nous was an astral computer that calculated the essence of the universe and its ultimate solution. Members of the Genius Society, who are considered the greatest minds in the universe, are followers of this Aeon. Playable Erudition characters, likeJing Yuanand Serval, all inflict AoE damage to enemies.
Oroboros The Voracity:Oroboros was described as an “unsatisfied devourer of worlds” that’s also taking the form of a fearful Leviathan.
Qlipoth The Preservation:Qlipoth is known as a powerful protector of planets, and protects living worlds from getting devoured. In Jarilo-VI, the Aeon has a statue in the Administrative District of Belobog City as the citizens revered them. Preservation characters, likeMarch 7thand Gepard, also have protective abilities as they provide shields to their allies.
Tayzzyronth The Propagation:The Path of Propagation was believed to be born from loneliness following the disappearance of Long the Permanence. Tazzyronth metamorphosed into a self-duplicating horror in the process, and was later attacked and killed by multiple Aeons.
Terminus The Finality:Terminus doesn’t have any information about them as of now. The only notable tidbit about this Aeon is that they’re followed by two factions called the Omen Vanguards and Creed Exequy.
Xipe The Harmony:Xipe was the amalgamation of all entities that preach the joy of harmony and unity. This characteristic could also be seen inHarmony-type characters, who all have abilities that buff their allies' stats.
Yaoshi The Abundance:Despite being known for blessing people with immortality, Yaoshi brought upon undead abominations in the Xianzhou, which are now known as the Mara-Struck. They were defeated by Lan the Hunt, but they still gained devout followers called the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus. Nonetheless, playable Abundance characters, likeLuochaand Bailu, are all healers, sometimes providing buffs to allies.
Honkai: Star Railis now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
