Players can unlock Super Cena by completing Match 16 ofWWE 2K23’s Showcase Mode, which, somewhat appropriately, is named Didn’t See That Coming.Just like in Match 15 of the mode, players will get to choose which wrestler they control, allowing them to pick the Superstar who best suits their playstyle. What’s more, there are only four objectives, making this one of the easiest matches in Showcase Mode.

Perform any Heavy Combo. To check their chosen Superstar’s moves, players can pause the game and head to the COMBOS menu.
Now dish out an extreme amount of punishment as you see fit!
Deal enough damage to fill the meter in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Unlike inprevious Showcase Mode matches, filling this meter up will take a significant amount of time. Players should focus on using hard-hitting moves and combos and may want to consider taking things outside of the ring to get in some additional damage.
Cena might be in trouble - try to connect with your Finisher in the ring!
While inside the ring and with at least one bar of the Finisher meter filled, press R2 + X (PlayStation) or RT + A (Xbox) when prompted. Depending on which Superstar players choose for this match, the conditions for performing a Finisher may vary a little. Most Finishers are performed while facing a standing opponent, but some will need to be triggered while the other Superstar is down in the ring and the player-controlled character is standing either beside them or in one of the four corners of the ring.

With Cena down in the ring, stand beside him and flick the right analog stick down. To save time, players can do this while their Superstar is still in the process of delivering their Finisher.
