Spider-Man: Miles Moraleshas not only proven to have incredible legs for Sony, selling well long after its launch, but the spin-off has also inspired a dedicated community of fans. Now, oneSpider-Man: Miles Moralesplayer has gone out of their way to create and share a mobile version of the Insomniac title.

Much like thecustomSpider-Man: Miles MoralesPS5 controller, this game was initially a passion project for R-User Games and yPER Studios. However, an outpouring of support pushed the developers to release the fan game, with a download link for the mobile title shared in the comments of a recently released trailer. For those interested in playing a solid Spider-Man game on the go, this fan game could be worth a download, though there is no telling how long it will be available.

While R-User Games makes it clear that their project is a fan game and is not associated with Sony orInsomniac Gamesin any way, that will likely not be enough to keep it safe from a takedown or copyright strike. After all, Nintendo has shown a serious disdain for fan games, ordering a lot of great content to be pulled down. While Sony may not be as aggressive as Nintendo in this area, the mobile version ofSpider-Man: Miles Moralesuses the same assets and even the same logo, so it is hard to imagine in staying up for long.

For those wanting to give the fan game a try, though, the trailer provides a good glimpse at what it will be like. Players can expect to swing around through a version of New York City like they would expect to do in any otherSpider-Man game. As shown in the trailer, the animations are pulled straight out of the Insomniac Games, as are a majority of the 20 costumes that players can switch between - though Miles’ hooded suit fromSpider-Man: Into The Spider-Verseis a cool addition.

While swinging is the main activity available to players, some combat challenges fromSpider-Man: Miles Moralesare also included. In the comments section, plenty can be seen sharing how much they love playing a Spider-Man game on the go, though there are some suggestions for how to make the unofficial mobile port better. While NPCs and a bigger city may be harder to make work,Miles’ voice lines, obstacles, and mini-games seem more viable.

Alongside this fan game bringingSpider-Man: Miles Moralesto mobile, an official release of the game is planned for PC. While Nixxes isbringing the originalMarvel’s Spider-Manto PC, it has stated thatSpider-Man: Miles Moralesis planned to come to the platform later on, giving fans a few new places to enjoy the game.

Spider-Man: Miles Moralesis available now on PS4 and PS5. A PC version is currently in development.
