kusakabe vs sukuna jujutsu kaisen jjk 254

This week, it wasthe turn of Kusakabe to try his luck against Sukuna, and the result was nothing that fans did not expect. Kusakabe ended up losing the battle, but the end saw another contender join the battle against Sukuna, and this time, it turned out to be someone very unexpected. That, and much more was tackled in JJK chapter 254.

Kusakabe Vs Sukuna Begins

As fans expected,JJKchapter 254 saw the beginning of Kusakabe versus Sukuna. In last week’s chapter, fans saw Kusakabe being hyped up by many sorcerers in Tokyo Jujutsu High. For instance, Nanami spoke quite highly of him, as dead Mei Mei and, of course, the strongest modern sorcerer, Gojo. All these sorcerers spoke of Kusakabe as the strongest Grade One, and at the same time, a very resourceful individual. He certainly showed that in this week’s chapter as he utilized his simple domain to the very best. His simple domain proved to be quite different from what fans have seen others utilize.

For one, he can expand the range of a simple domain to an incredible degree, and, thanks to that, attack automatically against his enemies. This turned out to be quite useful, as not only did it help him evade Sukuna’s slashes, even the ones that he launched without moving a muscle, but it also allowed him to land a powerful barrage on him. The King of Curses was targeted with quite a powerful barrage of slashes.

He also showcased other powerful abilities, such as creating a sword with his cursed energy. All this was quite exciting for the fans to witness, however, at the end of the day, it did not really amount to anything. Fans went into this fight with very low expectations for Kusakabe, because he isn’t all that powerful, taking everything into consideration. If powerfulSpecial Grade sorcerers such as Yuta have failed, there is no reason to believe that Kusakabe would do something amazing. That is exactly what happened and fans already knew that he would fall without making any significant breakthrough. Even though he landed a powerful bunch of slashes on the King of Curses, they did not really amount to anything, which is sad as it felt like a wasted chapter. Had he actually done something that hurt the King of Curses, then, for sure, this fight would have been meaningful.

Kusakabe’s Fall

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 254 finally so Kusakabe fall in battle. We previously predicted for him to last one chapter in battle, and that is precisely what ended up happening. Even though he launched a powerful barrage of attacks on Sukuna, and somewhat scratched his body, he was not able to land even one significant blow. He did try to go for his heart, however, Sukuna blocked the attempt and treated him almost as if he was a child. Kusakabe saw true terror as Sukuna sliced him across his chest. He lay down in pain, ready to accept his death, and that is precisely when Ui Ui came.

Once again, this is a repetitive turn of events that fans have seen for months upon months now. The author has stuck to his strategy here again, butSukuna, the King of Curses, was starting to get annoyed by Ui Ui taking all the targets and transporting them somewhere. As such, he attempted to stop this transfer and tried to kill him.

Once again, this was an expected turn of events as fans have previously seen him come and take every single injured member to Shoko. Fans already know that Shoko is trying her best to heal them and, perhaps, help them return to battle. Or, Shoko can simply heal them and then they will be out of the story for the foreseeable future.

Regardless, what fans know is that Ui Ui transporting them to her, and she is trying her best to heal them. Sukuna would not have it, and he already knows that this might end up being a thorn in his side later down the line. As such, it makes perfect sense for Sukuna to take him out of the battle, and he certainly did his best to get rid of him in this chapter. Unfortunately for him, that is precisely when another sorcerer joined the battle, and this time, the fighter was certainly unexpected.

Miguel Joins The Fight

InJJKchapter 254, fans saw Miguel join the fight against Sukuna. Fans knew that another sorcerer would join the fight against the King of Curses, since that is how the manga has been over the course of the last few months, however, they certainly did not expect Miguel to be the one who takes up arms against the King of Curses. Miguel has not been seen in the story for quite a long time, but now, he has entered the battle and it will be interesting to see what he ends up doing against the King of Curses. According to the editor, Miguel went toe-to-toe with Gojo long ago in the past, and that certainly bodes well for him. However, those who did watchJJK0would know that this statement is far from true. Miguel ended up being Gojo’s punching bag and lost the battle terribly.

With that said, in the manga, this fight was off-screened, and it is possible that Miguel actually held his own to some degree. Still, saying that he was on the same level as Gojo or fought equally against him would be a massive reach. Regardless, fans are incredibly excited to see which direction this battle takes, and hope for a different outcome this time around. Miguel is strong and that goes without saying. However, whether he’s stronger than those whom Sukuna has fought over the course of the last few chapters, such as Yuta and Maki, remains to be seen.

Additionally, fans hope that Gege changes his strategy in this fight moving forward. In every single chapter, fans see a character jointhe fight against Sukuna, get hyped up into oblivion, and then be sliced apart to bits, with Ui Ui then taking their remains to Shoko to heal. Then another fighter joins and the cycle continues. This is getting quite frustrating for the fans to witness, as there is no variation and the style is way too predictable. As is evident, the series would do well to change things up a bit and deliver a proper fight against the King of Curses. Whether or not fans will get to see that in the upcoming JJK chapter 255 is another question entirely. Fans will only find out after a week of waiting.

Jujutsu Kaisen is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and theManga Plusapp. The release date for the next chapter of JJK, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 255, is set to be May 19, 2025.
