Honkai: Star RailVersion 2.3 is officially arriving on June 19, and HoYoverse revealed an exciting lineup for updates that fans can expect.Honkai: Star Rail’s most recent adventure to Penacony was one of the biggest and most exciting story quests in the game so far, which is why it’s bittersweet for fans to say goodbye to the Planet of Festivities.
Honkai: Star Railrecently wrapped up its Version 2.3 Special Program stream teased “Farewell, Penacony,” which will be the final Trailblaze Mission before the Astral Express Crew leaves Penacony. The story occurs right after the Trailblazer’s battle against theOak Family’s head Sunday, with the major lineages of Penacony’s The Family working on strategies to address the aftermath and the termination of the Charmony Festival. Likewise, the Version 2.3 trailer also teased that Sparkle will have a major role in “Farewell, Penacony.”
One of the highlights of the Version 2.3 Special Program stream is the character showcase, which revealed the ability kits ofHonkai: Star Rail’s upcoming 5-star banner characters Fireflyand Jade. The first phase will feature Firefly, aka the Stellaron Hunter Sam, a Fire-type Destruction character, who transforms into her mech form to deal massive damage in battle. The second phase will feature Jade, a Quantum-type Erudition character, who deals AoE damage and has the ability to buff allies' stats. The new characters will also be accompanied by the 5-star rerun characters, Ruan Mei and Argenti.

Honkai: Star Rail Reveals New Features for Version 2.3
Apart from the Trailblaze Mission,Honkai: Star RailVersion 2.3 will open up a new location called the Radiant Feldspar, a ship sailing above Penacony, and introduce a new event and permanent game modes. While aboard the Feldspar Radiant, the Trailblazer can access a new permanent Simulated Universe mode called Divergent Universe, which will utilize technology from Screwllum’s home planet. Another permanent game mode coming to Version 2.3 is Apocalyptic Shadow, where players will face projections of The Finality and defeat past bosses. Lastly,Honkai: Star Railwill debut the limited-time PvP mini-gameOrigami Bird Clash, where players can get Stellar Jades and other prizes.

After leaving the Planet of Festivities, the Astral Express Crew will be making their way to the Xianzhou Luofu again once Version 2.4 rolls out to attend the Wardance Luminary Combat Arts Ceremony.Honkai: Star RailVersion 2.4 will also release 5-star characters Yunliand Jiaoqiu, and will also introduce new characters who are part of the Wardance.
