The team working onLies of Phas been extremely creative with the designs of both the game’s main and mini-bosses. One of the more unique enemies is the Mad Clown Puppet, who can be found only after players defeat the White Lady.
Players will encounterthe Mad Clown Puppetbefore they reach the entrance of Estella Opera House. While he is only a mini-boss inLies of P, it is possible to avoid him completely and activate the Mansion Stargazer first. Afterresting at the Stargazer, players can go back and approach him to begin the battle. They can fight him in his original location, but it is much better to lure him to the Stargazer.

Though the Mad Clown Puppet is a mini-boss, it would be unwise to underestimate him. He has a plethora of tricks in his arsenal, and most of them can cause problems, especially in a closed environment. HisFury Attack is of two types, and the attack unleashed depends on whether players are close to him or far away. At a distance, the Mad Clown Puppet will launch his right hand toward Pinocchio; if the protagonist is in close proximity to the Mad Clown Puppet, he will execute a lethal combo.
The Mad Puppet can also perform various other moves, and he usually ends them by lunging toward the players. By memorizing the pattern of his attacks, it is much easier to beat him.
Before fighting the mini-boss,players should equip the Flame Grindstone to maximize their damage output.Equipping some throwing itemslikeSaw BladeorSharp Pipeis not a bad idea either. Once all the necessary preparations have been made, players can head toward the Mad Clown Puppet to trigger the fight.
The puppet will start attacking straightaway, and dodging in a confined space can make avoiding his attacks a little difficult. Whenever helaunches his right arm, players need torun sideways to avoid it. After this attack, Pinocchio can follow up with a strike.
When the Mad Clown Puppet starts swinging his arm, players should keep running and let him finish. There will be a small window where he stands still; this is a good opportunity to attack and get a couple of blows in.
The Mad Clown Puppet will assume different positions, and if he takes the one where he puts his left hand on the ground, it means he is about to lunge forward. This can be easily avoided, and it makes for a great opportunity to land a hit.
