Lost Arkdebuted the Machinist classearlier this year on its roadmap and now the wait is finally coming to a close with the big September update at the end of this month. The Machinist packs a variety of high-tech weapons along with a drone that has its own unique attacks. The Machinist’s skills can be broken down into four categories: Normal skills, Drone skills, Combo skills, and Sync skills. Normal skills utilize the Machinist’s guns and grenades, Drone skills are tied to the drone’s capabilities, Combo skills center around coordination between the machinist and the drone, and Sync skills are high-powered attacks usable when the Machinist activates Hypersync.
As the fifthadvanced class forLost Ark’s Gunners, Machinists have access to a variety of ranged combat skills that focus on mobility, control, and maintaining distance. Mobile Shot lets the Machinist roll toward a location while rolling a second time blasts the targeted location and provides a Reload buff. Backflip Strike is another mobility skill where the Machinist dashes forward, plants a bomb on the enemy, then somersaults away from the target. As a transformation class, Machinist gameplay is focused around unleashing its high-tech Iron Man-like armor to bring its most powerful abilities into the fold.
The Machinist is known as the Scouter in the original Eastern edition, so gamers can take a look at how that class plays ahead of its release. Morenew classes forLost Arkare certainly on the horizon as the Western edition of the game catches up to its older counterpart.
