YouTubepersonality MrBeast seems to regret launching MrBeast Burger and listed quality control as the business' main problem. He also expressed the opinion that MrBeast Burger has negatively affected his brand image, and theYouTubestar said that he’s more interested in his Feastables snack food company.

However, the massively popular YouTuberalready seems to wish he could distance himself from the business bearing his name. On June 16, Twitter user StoryAviraTime asked if MrBeast Burger was on its way out following the deletion of its announcement video. MrBeast replied, “Yeah, the problem with Beast Burger is I can’t guarantee the quality of the order.” He explained how MrBeast Burger has very little control over its partner restaurants, making it almost impossible to enforce consistent standards. The YouTube star also said he’s much more passionate about his Feastables snack food brand than he is about MrBeast Burger.

MrBeast Burger’s unreliable quality has been a known issue for some time. While some customers praised the chain, others criticized its long wait times, bad service, and poor presentation. MrBeast Burger also had some serious issues with food safety, with some customers receiving undercooked meat or moldy buns. While it’s debatable how much of the blame should land on MrBeast himself, it is fair to say that the company could have done a better job of vetting its contractors.

The YouTube startalked more about his issues with MrBeast Burger in a series of since-deleted tweets. He reiterated the impossibility of enforcing quality control over more than 2,000 restaurants he doesn’t own and said he was stepping away to focus on his company. In another deleted tweet, he said that if it were only up to him, he would shut MrBeast Burger down altogether, describing it as “terrible for my brand.” Unfortunately for MrBeast, that is impossible due to his contract with Virtual Dining Concepts. LLC. “Young Beast signed a bad deal,” he said.

The good news for the YouTube superstar is that his snack food line doesn’t seem to have the same problems. Feastables hasn’t been entirely free of controversy, of course. In March,MrBeast faced criticism for asking his fans to clean up Feastables displaysin stores and sabotage competitors. Still, one could argue that’s not quite as bad as raw burgers and moldy buns.
