While there was no official E3 this year, many publishers still came out with big showcases in June. However, that doesn’t mean everything will be quiet until the releases kick in this fall, withUbisoftgearing up foritsSkull and Bonesshowcaseon the 7th.
However, Thursday’sSkull and Bonesevent isn’t the only thing on the publisher’s schedule for 2022. In a recent blog post,Ubisoftconfirmed that it has another Ubisoft Forward covering multiple games planned for September 10th.

The stream will go live on YouTube, Twitch, and Ubisoft’s official website on September 10th at 12:00 PM Pacific / 9:00 PM Eastern. However, despite setting a specific date and time, Ubisoft didn’t go into much detail about what fans might see at the event. According to the announcement, this fall’s Ubisoft Connect will cover multiple games, though it is unclear ifUbisoft is making any new announcements. Ubisoft’s blog post promises “updates and news on multiple games and projects” but doesn’t contain any clues about what games or franchises might be featured. However, it indicated that the publisher will offer more information as September approaches.
Ubisoft is a large company with multiple studios worldwide, so it has several games currently in development. While it’s impossible to say which of them might show up in September, there is no shortage of candidates. For example, Ubisoft plans toreleaseMario + Rabbids Sparks of Hopein October. Meanwhile,Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora,Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland,the wacky dodgeball gameOddBallers, and thePrince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remakeall don’t have release dates.
In addition to the games confirmed to be coming in 2022, Ubisoft also has several other titles in development. These include the major releases like the above-mentionedSkull and Bones, along withAssassin’s Creed Infinity,Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Frontline, a newSplinter Cellgame, andthe long-awaitedBeyond Good and Evil 2. Other projects include RTS city-builderThe Settlers, free-to-play multiplayer FPSXDefiant, and Massive Entertainment’s untitledStar Warsgame. Ubisoft additionally has Red Storm working on VR versions ofAssassin’s CreedandSplinter Cell, with aRainbow Sixmobile game in the works.
It is impossible to say whether fans will see any of the above games at Ubisoft Forward in September. Still, with so many games in development at multiple studios, Ubisoft will likely have updates on at least some of them. Ubisoft fans still have this week’s showcase to look forward to.
