Along with the writers and actors, audiences are ready for the Hollywood strikes to end, especially Neil Druckmann. The creator ofThe Last Of Usrevealed when season 2 will be ready to go.
With theongoing strikes, many projects have come to a sudden halt. Of course, there are gray areas with certain networks where some projects are able to continue with their process, but other major networks such as HBO have completely stopped producing some of their most popular series. To top it all off some shows are even being canceled during the strike. Then there are the shows that patiently wait with their outlines and scripts ready to go when the studios come to their senses. Thankfully Neil Druckmann the creator ofThe Last Of Us, has revealed to fans when they plan to start filming again.

The Last Of Uswas one of the most talked about shows this year. Since the finale all fans can think about is the next season, which is now on hold because of the strike. Not all hope is lost it seems.In an interview withEntertainment Weekly, Druckmann, revealed that “Season 2 is outlined and ready to film whenever the strike ends.” There are even rumors of a third game currently in the works. “As far as the next game at Naughty Dog, I can’t say anything. My comms director over there will slaughter me.” Not only was it one of the most successful video game adaptations yet, but it also brought an evenstronger connection to the charactersand fleshed out stories many wondered about.
It’s agreed thatthe strikes have gone on long enough, and they won’t stop until the writers and actors get what they are truly owed. While streaming isn’t all that new, more and more networks are joining in on the rat race and creating their own subscription services, leaving those who work on shows and film in the dust. Of course, that’s not true for every network out there, but the other big networks know what they are doing, and it’s not going to work. Now that fall is just around the corner it’s time for shows to get back on track.
