NewDaredevil: Born Againset photos and videoprovide an HD look at the new, more comic-accurate suits worn by Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Bethel as Bullseye.

Daredevil: Born Againwas set to be the first standalone MCU project for Cox’s titular character since he was formally integrated into the franchise with supporting appearances inSpider-Man: No Way Home,She-Hulk, andEcho. However,Daredevil: Born Againunderwent a creative overhaulafter production was postponed due to the writers' and actors' strikes because Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige was reportedly unhappy with the footage he’d seen. The video from theBorn Againset showingDaredevil and Bullseye in full costumewas posted on X by userChereNatalija. It offers a first look at Cox in an updated red Daredevil suit with a brighter shade. The costume retains the iconic devil horns and color scheme but also takes inspiration from the red-and-black suit introduced in the Netflix series. Meanwhile, Bethel is shown suited up as Bullseye in a militant assault gear ensemble with bandoliers and multiple pouches likely carrying his signature weapons. Additional images from GettyImages and Just Jared provide a clear look at the new Daredevil and Bullseye costume for Cox and Wilson, with both actors seemingly filming a fight scene.

In the comics, Bullseye is one of Daredevil’s most ruthless and dangerously unhinged enemies, with near-perfect aim allowing him to turn any small object into a lethal projectile weapon. Colin Farrell portrayed the villain in the 2003Daredevilfilm starring Ben Affleck. However, the character is set to receive a darker and more faithful adaptation inBorn Again. While full plot details remain tightly under wraps for now, it has been confirmed that the upcoming series will seeDaredevil locked in conflict with Kingpinonce more. Their bitter rivalry defined the acclaimed first three seasons of the original series, centered on the ideological battle between Daredevil’s vigilante justice and Fisk’s mission to control New York City through corruption and fear. Images from the set also suggest that Fisk will run for Mayor of New York City, still unrelenting in his lust for power and influence.

The tone and style ofDaredevil: Born Againalso appear consistent with the gritty, grimy, and grounded aesthetic of the Netflix series based on these first looks. However, as the firstDaredevilproject produced completely under Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige’s vision, connections to the Marvel Cinematic Universe could come into play. With 18 episodes reportedly planned, the series also has plenty of time to not only explore Daredevil’s world from exciting new angles but also further develop the compelling character dynamics between Matt Murdock,Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page, Foggy Nelson, and others that made the Netflix series so beloved.

Daredevil: Born Againis set to debut on Disney Plus in 2025.
