It’s been a month now sinceDragon Ball Z: Kakarotlaunched, and in this time, players have likely beaten the game, completed most if not all of its achievements, and defeated the secret boss. Many are looking forward to the DLC run of the game now, though its season pass remains mostly a mystery. Now, a recent translation of V Jump magazine may suggest thatDragon Ball Z: Kakarotis getting Super DLC, as many fans have wanted.
Translations and information from Twitter user @peraperayume and Ryokutya show new details provided by the aforementioned magazine. It talks about how citizens were turned into the furry bipedal animals they are in the universe and how Saiyans' tails stop growing when their human form is more powerful than their Great Ape form, which is new lore provided by Akira Toriyama himself reportedly, but then there’s the mention of a tree inDragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

As seen below, this tree is described as mysterious but with a recognizable shape, which will play some role in the DLC as well as likely be a stage. Then, there’s mention of something about not even the place “where Paikuhan was..,” which many will know as Pikkon. Assuming the following words are safe, it seems to be describing that Other World is not even safe from the events of theDragon Ball Z: KakarotDLC.
That interpretation is still up in the air, but there are two leading theories as to what this could mean. First, it could be related to Turles and theTree of Mightmovie. Given thatGokuis forewarned about this incident from King Kai, Pikkon’s mention would make some sense. However, the more popular opinion is that this is the tree located on Beerus' planet, which would mean this is all but official confirmation ofDragon Ball SuperDLC.
It’s worth adding thatBeerus and Whis have been found inDBZ: Kakarotgame files with fully fleshed out moves, so it is as equally likely if not more so asTree of Might. If not a full dive intoSuper’s God of Destruction Arc, it could be Z’s Gods of the Universe saga.
Exactly what this tree is and how it relates to DLC remains to be seen, but since this comes from a V Jump translation, there’s a good chance that a full scan will be available in the coming days. This may fully explainDragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s season passor it may just outline the first full-blown DLC, but either way, it seems like fans are ready.
