There’s not much time untilNew Pokemon Snapcomes out for the Nintendo Switch. WhilePokemonfans wait for the game’s release date, new footage has been released to give players more of a taste of what to expect.
It has long since been confirmed that there are far more Pokemon inNew Pokemon Snapcompared to how many were in the original game. This means that there are plenty of Pokemon that players will be able to peacefully interact with in the wild that they couldn’t before. Recent footage released on the Nintendo of America Twitter page shows how players can do this with the Johto Pokemon Bellossom.

Bellossom is apure Grass-type Pokemonthat evolves from Gloom if players use a Sun Stone on it instead of a Grass Stone. This evolution causes the Pokemon to lose its secondary Poison-typing and gain a brighter hula dancer inspired appearance.
This new footage shows what happens when Bellossom hear players using music while on theirPokemon photographytravels. A previous trailer that showed this item revealed that it could make Pokemon like Hoothoot sing along. In Bellossom’s case however, it causes the Pokemon to instead dance to the melody. This shows that certain items will have different effects on different Pokemon.
Another interesting thing seen in this footage is the flower seen behind the two Bellossom. Another trailer explained that these flowers are known as Crystal Blooms. When anIllumina Orbis thrown at a Crystal Bloom it will apparently have an effect on its surroundings. This specific Crystal Bloom may affect the dancing Bellossom in the main game if it is activated, but players will need to wait until the full release to find out more with this specific flower.
The melody effect was previously shown off with Bellossom in the trailer that introduced Crystal Blooms. That footage however showed many more Bellossom than what was seen in this new clip. It is unknown if that means there is a way to gather even more Bellossom or if the amount in this specific area was changed in between the creation of that trailer and this clip. The amount may also be related to the nearby Crystal Bloom, although the Crystal Bloom doesn’t seem to be activated in either pieces of footage.
There’s not much time untilNew Pokemon Snap’s release, meaning that interested fans won’t have to wait much longer to uncover the secrets of the the Lental region while taking plenty of photographs in-game.
