Fans have been discussing possible theories ever since the first trailer for the highly-anticipatedSpider-Man: No Way Homewas released. Marvel Studios has now revealed a brand new poster that unleashes some Multiversal action and provides a small glimpse at the Green Goblin.
The newSpider-Man: No Way Homeposter revealed by the studio offers a glimpse of Green Goblin, one of Spidey’s archnemeses, hovering on his Goblin Glider in the distance. The villain’s return was already teased in the firstofficialSpider-Man: No WayHome trailerwhen one of his iconic pumpkin bombs is seen rolling onto a crowded highway. But, the new poster all but confirms his return, which has fans quite excited.

The new poster has started a thread of conversation among fans on social media, with keen-eyed viewers pointing out other details, or Easter eggs, in the artwork. Apart from Green Goblin, who is quite clearly visible, the poster features Doc Ock’s mechanical tentacles. But, that doesn’t come as a surprise to fans, as they have alreadyseen Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock in the trailer. There are some other interesting things in the poster, though, that have fans theorizing.
The running theory since the film was announced has been that the movie would follow a plot similar toSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and potentially introduce multiple Spider-Men. But, along with the Variants of the fan-favorite hero, fans also expect to see some of the mosticonic villains in the previousSpider-Manfilmsreturn. These include Rhys Ifans as The Lizard and Thomas Haden Church as Sandman.
The newSpider-Man: No Way Homeposter features some lightning bolts and blowing dust. It has already been confirmed thatJamie Foxx’s Electro will be appearingin the film, and the lightning could probably be symbolizing his character. On the other hand, fans are convinced that the dust featured in the poster is a hint towards the return of Sandman.
Some keen-eyed fans already claim to have spotted The Lizard in theSpider-Man: No Way Hometrailer after enhancing one of the scenes where Tom Holland’s Peter Parker seems stunned after being attacked by individual hiding in the dark. Fans believe that the new poster is teasing the villains that mayform the Sinister Sixin the upcoming film. With Holland ready to take a break afterSpider-Man: No Way Homereleases, fans are looking forward to an epic send-off.
