Niantic’sPokemon GOrecently implemented an update that hasput players at risk of seizures, due to a sudden white light appearing on-screen when a Pokemon is being accessed from the world map. Now, Niantic has reached out to a fan to let the public know that a fix is being rolled out to address the seizure risk issue.
Though the number ofPokemon GOplayers has diminished since its launch many years ago, the Pokemon-catching mobile game continues to be one of the most played titles, given the current pandemic. It seems Niantic has worked double-time to ensure that players are retained, continuing old and new events to enticePokemonfans to remain within the game. WithPokemon GOFest 2021coming in full swing this upcoming summer, Niantic has likely put much importance to addressing serious issues such as the seizure risk, especially if it puts its players in danger.
