How to Get Sulfur
Sulfur is one of the essential resources that you are going to need if you are looking to craft Gunpowder. Luckily, this resource can be mined directly from its ore, but due to the abundant amount ofresources in the wild, it is hard for players to recognize Sulfur among all.
Fortunately, this problem can be avoided, as Sulfur nodes have a distinct color and texture. You can identify these ores by their characteristic brownish-yellow hue, often appearing as a cluster of gray rocks with mossy, mustard-colored patches on them.

However, these nodes are relatively less common if you compare them to Copper and Gravel, since they are easy to find if you know where to look. Still, if you are looking for the best places to find Sulfur, you may consider exploring thesouthwest of the World Map, particularly in theLevel 36 Chalk Peak area.
This region is rich in Sulfur nodes as you can also identify it from a distinctbrownish-yellow tintappearing on the map. Additionally, these nodes are usually present inforested areas, near roads, and waterways, and most of the time away from buildings.
Once you have located a Sulfur node, you will need a mining tool, such as a pickaxe (a Copper or Steel one will also work), to extract the resource. With the mining tool in your hand, get near the node and tap the F key when prompted to do so. Your character will then start mining the Sulfur from the node. Most Sulfur nodes yieldbetween 16 and 20 units of Sulfur, along with additional Gravels.
Additionally, for efficient Sulfur farming, especially when you are exploring the Chalk Peak area, you canuse the teleportation featureto travel directly to the region. This will save you time and effort. Once you reach there, navigate to the hilly parts of the area with thehelp of your Motorcycleor Car.
From the top of the hill, make your way downwards. When you are descending, you will encounter several Sulfur nodes along the way. Take your time and collect the Sulfur from the nodes one by one to collect a substantial amount of it.
