One Piecedropped the latest installment ofchapters in its Egghead Island arcjust recently and this week, fans were treated to a thrilling chapter from start to finish. As expected, the Egghead Island arc is now picking up the pace and getting more intense than ever, with the potential end to arc also in sight. Previously,fans saw Luffy clash against Lucciand Sentomaru being taken out by the CP0 members.

As expected, the clash between the members of the CP0 and the Straw Hat Pirates seems to be far from over. This week, fans got to see a continuation of that. Surprisingly, Oda also gave the fans a glimpse of the events taking place all over the world and it certainly was an incredible sight for the fans to see. With Bartholomew Kuma in action, along with some light being thrown on even Garp,One Piece 1071was certainly a sight for the fans to behold.
Bartholomew Kuma Steps Into Action
Bartholomew Kuma has been a very important part ofOne Piece’sEgghead Island arc and while he hadn’t been seen for quite a while, fans got a glimpse of him in this week’s chapter. After having flown from Momoiro Island, Kuma appeared to be headed to Egghead Island. However, it must be remembered that to do that, he would have to cross over the Red Line. This is down to the fact that Momoiro Island is in Paradise, while Egghead Island lies in the New World. Expectedly, Kuma ran directly into the behemoth that is the Red Line and was stopped in his tracks entirely.

Now, it’ll be very interesting to see how Kuma manages to get to his destination, however, by the looks of it, he’ll likely start climbing the Red Line and thenuse his abilities on himself once again. Kuma’s goals remain unclear at the moment, however, fans will likely find out what he intends to do once he gets closer to his actual destination. Bonney, his daughter, is currently with the Straw Hat Pirates at the moment and logic would dictate that Kuma wants to get close to where she is at the moment. In the next few chapters of One Piece, this plot point is sure to unravel more butOne Piece 1071certainly raised more questions than it answered regarding Kuma.
The Mystery Man On Egghead
On Egghead Island, the Straw Hat Pirates prepare to depart as Dr. Vegapunk and Bonney are now with the crew and there isn’t any more reason for them to stay on the island. The goal of the crew is to get out of there and get Vegapunk to safety. At the same time, they would also want to follow the Log to the next island, however, it appears more and more likely that the crew will not be following the Log for quite a while once again. With the Revolutionary Army likely departing from Momoiro to chase down Kuma and Luffy and his crew setting sail from Egghead Island soon, it is highly likely that the two groups will run into each other at a new location.
To make things interesting, the latest chapter introduced the fans to a mysterious person who Vegapunk called in order to assist them in leaving the island. By the looks of it, this person is incredibly powerful as Vegapunk is sure that they canhold off the Cipher Poland can be of immense help to him and the group. At this point in time, fans are left scratching their heads thinking about who this person could be, however, no clues have been given just yet.
Garp Springs Into Action
Perhaps the most important part ofOne Piece 1071came towards the end when the Marine base G14 was shown to the fans after quite a while. Fans got a small glimpse of it towards the beginning of the arc after captain Koby was captured by Blackbeard. Shortly afterwards, the other members of SWORD were introduced to the fans, which included Vice Admiral Doll. InOne Piece 1071, fans saw Garp engage in a conversation with Doll and tell her that he is preparing for an interesting voyage. Garp called out Helmeppo and asked him to get on his ship. It appears that the two will be heading to Beehive Island, where the current Emperor of the Sea, Blackbeard is.
Interestingly, at the same time, fans must remember thatBlackbeard is engaging Trafalgar Lawin the New World somewhere. Whether Koby is on his ship or kept a prisoner at Beehive Island is not known. Either way, Garp is most likely to engage Blackbeard in combat soon and this is something that fans would love to see very much. Garp is a legendary figure in theOne Pieceworld and seeing him engage in combat would certainly give immense joy to all the fans of the series.
