Summary
A talentedPokemonfan recently created a short animation featuring Wooper, which looked fantastic.Pokemonfan artcomes in many different forms and often highlights the most beloved creatures of the franchise, as well as their alternative versions, and this clip captured the essence of the Pokemon very well.
Wooper first appeared in the second generation of the franchise viaPokemon Gold and Silver. The Water/Ground-type creature’s design resembles a tadpole, and it is often considered one of the cutest creatures of its generation. The normal version of Whooper evolves to Quagsire at Level 20, while its Paldean regional variant turns into Clodisre at the same level. Though Wooper is arguably not among theTop 10 most popular Pokemon of all time, it’s quite charming and unique, which ensures it is remembered so many years after it appeared for the first time.

Now, a creativePokemonfan called MadeSoICanPostStuff has shared an adorable animation featuring the tadpole-like creature. The clip is extremely short, lasting only three seconds, but it is very well-made and realistic. It features two Woopers, with one of them is sleeping while the other is jumping very happily at the border of a lake. As pointed out by some of the commenters, the video actually looks much longer than it is, as the animation loops perfectly, giving the impression that the Wooper is jumping several times.
Pokemonfan art featuring Wooper is very common in the community. For example, one artist designed afuture Paradox for Woopera few months ago. Paradox forms have been a very popular type of fan art since the release ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet, and this piece was particularly interesting, as it gave the small creature a metallic gray skin and a cute antenna that looks like a Wi-Fi symbol. Overall, the fan’s version stayed true to the original design while also adding a cool, futuristic theme.
Another fan, however, took their love for Wooper to the next level. ThisPokemonfan added Woopers to a drawingfor over 100 days. They initially drew a single Wooper and then started to add another one daily to the piece. The final result after 165 days was pretty impressive, as it featured several versions of the creature in different poses, filling the whole drawing. It will be interesting to see what the community will design next, as the love for Wooper doesn’t seem to be diminishing anytime soon.
