Among the Pokemon most beloved by fans is the little veteran Bulbasaur. One of the initials of Generation 1, Bulbasaur is a Grass/Poison-type that accompanied many players on their early journey in thePokemonworld. In addition to being one of thebest Grass-type Pokemon available, Bulbasaur won players over with its cheerful and loyal nature. In the anime, Bulbasaur has several appearances, most notable for being one of Ash’s Pokemon. The first Kanto starter acquired by Ash, Bulbasaur is one of his most mature Pokemon and is often seen as the responsible leader of Ash’s Pokemon. User anastasiastardust shared their impressive Bulbasaur collection on Reddit. The image shows a shelf with variousPokemonitems, including several Bulbasaur plush toys, a Funko Pop, and some Bulbasaur figures. The shelf also has a figure of Ivysaur, the evolution of Bulbasaur that is one of thehighlights of Gen 1 Grass-type Pokemonalong with Bulbasaur’s final form, Venusaur. Other eye-catching items include a Bulbasaur mug, a Pokeball with a Bulbasaur inside and a backdrop with some plants, and a BulbasaurPokemon TCG:Pokemon GoPin Collection. On their Reddit profile, anastasiastardust says that their collection has almost 40 Bulbasaurs and that it continues to grow.
Anastasiastardust’s post on the officialPokemonsubreddit became a hit with almost 700 upvotes. In the comments, users praised the dedicated Bulbasaur fan’s collection and shared their love for the Pokemon. One user noted that anastasiastardust has a Dragonite Burger King keychain, a rare and vintage item. Being one of the Gen 1 starters, the first contact older players had with the franchise was likely with the trio Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander. Bulbasaur also stands out for its simple and pleasing design and its protective nature of the younger and weaker Pokemon.
