Zeroexev29’sPokemon Legends: Arceusclip begins with the player standing next to a shaking berry tree in theObsidian Fieldlands, the very first area thatPokemonplayers explore. As the tree shakes, Zeroexev29 summons their level 77 Kadabra by throwing a Poke Ball at the tree, which immediately causes the Alpha music to play. Before even revealing which Alpha Pokemon is in the tree, the music gives a hint at what awaits thePokemontrainer as a wild Burmy leaps out half a second later.
According to Zeroexev29, this Alpha trick has allowed them to capture a fewAlpha Pokemonand a Shiny Burmy which may entice somePokemon Legends: Arceusplayers to try it themselves. Although thePokemonbattle will still initiate regardless of whether it’s an Alpha or not once, listening to the music may give fans an idea of if the fight is worth running from. Zeroexev29 has confirmed that this trick works for the rocks in Hisui as well, though they noted that the trees occasionally have exclusives, while rocks will have more familiar Pokemon.
ManyPokemon Legends: Arceusplayers have expressed enthusiasm for Zeroexev29’s post, with some having no knowledge about the subtle music changes with Alpha Pokemon in trees. Zeroexev29 noted that thePokemon Legends: Arceusmusic may be more helpful to players if it activated when they’re near a tree containing an Alpha Pokemon rather than after initiating the combat, while others suggested a different indicator forShiny Pokemonin trees.
Pokemon Legends: Arceusis available now for Nintendo Switch.
