APokemon Scarlet and Violetplayer put together what they believe the past and future forms of Porygon2, the evolution of the first generation virtual Pokemon, could look like. While the Porygon line remains on the sidelines as one of hundreds to not be featured inPokemon Scarlet and Violet, its paradox forms beautifully represent what currently-featured Paradox Pokemon look like.

The ninth-generation gimmick ofthePokemonfranchise introduced Paradox Pokemon, unique monsters that resembled past and present forms of existing Pokemon but were also entirely unique and new entries to the Pokedex. WhilePokemon Scarletfeatured past forms for Pokemon such as Jigglypuff, Amoonguss, and Misdreavus,Pokemon Violetdelivered fans of the series to future Paradox Pokemon like Delibird, Hariyama, and Hydreigon.

Reddit user HertzBurst shared their creations to thePokemon Scarlet and Violetsubreddit, delivering both past and present forms of Porygon2. Fans of thePokemonfranchise, both the anime series and the video games, always appreciate contributions involving the virtual Pokemondespite Porygon being minimally featured due to controversybeyond its control. The past form of Porygon2, titled Wild Horns, boasts a spore-like appearance, complete with a two-segment body and three horns on its head. Wild Horns is given the duo-type of Normal and Fighting, taking away the Fighting-type weakness to its original form while giving it some much-needed physical power.

The future form of Porygon 2, Iron Data, takes on the more traditional Future Paradox appearance of a chromatic body and similar style to its original counterpart. Contrast to the fighting-type past form, Iron Data gains the Psychic type to give it more of an edge with a superior special attack. Similar to howIron Bundle’s future Paradox form resembles Delibird, Iron Data remains unchanged in its physical form, with the eyes taking on a digital appearance and the color swap heading in the direction of a copper-like approach. As its Pokedex entry reads, Iron Bundle resembles a machine featured in a futuristic magazine as a device kept to store data from the future.

The latest update of the Pokemon storing app,Pokemon Home’s 2.1.0 update, did not include capabilities of storing Pokemon fromPokemon Scarlet and Violetto the application, nor can players move past generation Pokemon over to the newest generation. The Porygon line remains on the outside looking in for the time being, but fans remain hopeful that the virtual Pokemon will get its spot on the main-game roster in the near future. The Paradox forms could be a nice touch, as the creations provided by HertzBurst would fit right in.
