In this case, though, a Twitter user that goes by the handle Presidentlilna1 has been posting screenshots of theirPokemon Scarlet and Violetgameplay ahead of its November 18th release. The account itself was created this month, so it’s possible that it was made for the purposes of spreading leaks to over 15,000 followers. They leaked some parts of the plot andnever-before-seen Pokemon. In one tweet, they showed that they got an early copy ofPokemon Violetto prove that their screenshots were real.

As of writing, Presidentlilna1’s account had been taken down. However, since they tagged their posts with #Pokemon and #PokemonLeaks, many players might have already stumbled upon their posts while browsing Twitter. It’s also possible that some have saved the screenshots, so they could spread it on their own pages.

For anyone avoidingPokemon Scarlet and Violetspoilers, it’s best to be wary of content on social media. Especially since the aforementionedPokemonleaker isn’t the only one. There’s also another Twitter user called PearlEnthusiast who sharedleaked photos of Fuecoco and Smoliv’s evolutions. There’s also no explanation on Nintendo’s end about where the earlyScarlet and Violetcopies are coming from, but it’s possible some retailer somewhere broke the street date.

There are only a few days left beforePokemon Scarlet and Violetlaunches. While many fans are excited to find out more about thenew Pokemon and their evolutions, not everyone would want to get spoiled because they want to experience the games for themselves. On the other hand, leaks are unfortunately inevitable for many popular video game titles. Whether the information online is real or not will depend on the game itself upon its release.
