Pokemon Scarlet & Violetbring with them plenty of big changes to the tried and testedPokemonformula, one of the most notable being the introduction of Paradox Pokemon. This newly-introduced group of powerful Pokemon is made up of new creatures which resemble either the futuristic or ancient forms of pre-existing Pokemon. They’re typically a lot more powerful too, with most having noticeable higher base stat totals than the Pokemon which inspired them, and special abilities which increase their base stat totals further still.
