And while some fans may not be happy to learn that they will potentially have to wait longer to playResident Evil 9than expected, the good news is that a different game in the series may help tide them over.
Resident Evil 9 May Be Delayed, But a Different RE Project Could Be on the Way
In the same comment, AestheticGamer said that they have “seen it suggested” that a differentResident Evilgame could be announced and released beforeResident Evil 9now, thanks to the latter’s apparent internal delay. They didn’t provide many specifics on what this mysteriousResident Evilproject would entail, but that they think it is “pretty funny” and “would catch a lot of people off guard.” Capcom has released all kinds ofResident Evilspin-offsand remakes over the years, and so it’s really anyone’s guess as to what the project AestheticGamer is alluding to could be about.
BesidesResident Evil 9, it’s been persistently rumored that Capcom is gearing up to release aResident Evil 5remake.
